I would expect one from most slayer tasks and any monsters that people recommend to kill for clue scrolls. Although, after several slayer tasks and 3 dragon tasks (Steel Dragons, Mithril Dragons and Iron Dragons, in order) , still no luck. It was only when I killed a random dagannoth guardian, it dropped one. Honestly, whats wrong with me? All I'm asking is a clue scroll to keep me busy for a few minutes and to clear my head, and after a few days without doing a clue scroll, I get very nervous...I lose the excitement to play Runescape, I lose all aspects to play Runescape.. And still, after a week of "clue farming" (What I call when I kill monsters specifically for clue scrolls) and slayer tasks, no clues. Even if you don't have the kuradal dungeon; the wilderness volcano is much better (can you say bank right outside anyone?) :-P OT: Yeah waiting a while for a clue sucks I'll give you that much. Became addicted to metal dragons and done well over 20 runs, killing over 70 iron/steels per run. Still not had a second clue from them. Look guys... I absolutely must be a mass baby-seal murderer! I'd much rather see much scarcer clues with guaranteed nice payouts than the current drop rate and the junk I get. CaJ Posted September 27, 2010 Share Posted September 27, 2010 The way I do it is do one clue scroll for every Slayer task. Doing a number of Clue Scrolls for one task is to me, a waste of time. Most of the time I get rune items that are less than 50k, but every once in a while I get a couple Zamorak pages worth 500-600k, which is often nice. Even the Elite Clue Scrolls mostly give out junk. You receive better profit overall, though you can't expect a nice item every time. I managed to get Saradomin and Zamorak torn pages on level 1 Clue Scrolls, but the chances aren't as good as they are on Elites. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It is like gettin a 5 task dry streak on abby demons and getting 2 whips in a row at the start of the next task... you can't control it, so just take the ones that come to you and dont complain. I'm sure many others have had worse streaks than you.
