I'm fixing a bit on the map, can everyone please show which provinces they are taking, remember you can only afford three curently.

Each province is worth 2 million for your budget but they cost 3 million to colonize. With the closeness bonus, then it should end up at 1.5 each.

1) Dusty, you need to repick your colonies if you want: currently those colonies will cost you (with closeness) 4.5m (one has 0 bordering provinces, the other 1) - though I will let you choose them again and consider them colonised yesterday due to mix up

3) Retech, just to be sure you know, two of those colonies are half price, but the southernmost two both cost the 3m; so 9m in total

There is a difference between provinces and colonies (at least, in my head). Two existing, established provinces which are NOT colonies.
