You see them everywhere. At the top of a clan's boards, on these boards as a signature or a userbar and on fight topics. Some of them look great, some of them... not so much.

 

Do you think that the qualify of clan graphics as a whole help a clan? I certainly think so. I know I'm more prone on adding a signature if it looks good, and if more members add signatures of their clan on forums, then clearly it would be more known. However, knowing this, are they necessary?

 

 

Do you know of a clan that does particularly well in this area? I know I've been a fan of EoS' and TT's.

And I mean, Yes obviously they are necessary, If you're trying to recruit for your clan, You need to make banners and stuff so people know how you're like, Putting stuff in your signature about your clans makes you look really good and it can get you more known in the clan world, A good way to recruit also.

They're not really necessary although I do believe it attracts people's attention a lot faster.

I wouldn't say it's necessary but it sure helps a lot. Clans with the attractive graphics will always draw more attention to themselves and thus more recruits. Graphics are a lot of the time the aspect of a clan people think of first when a certain clan is brought up and they are extremely important for recognition.

Clan graphics are honestly pretty important. If you look good to the eye, it does sway opinions. I personally was very tempted to join clans like Echoes of Silence and Shadow Elves back in the day due to their signatures. Sadly, I didn't meet the combat requirements. :P

They actually do make a difference. I loved Illusion's graphics and it inspired me to make some of my own for True Ownage. They were nowhere near as good, but I get the feeling the member's feel a bit more proud to represent their clans on fansites like this when they have a really nice graphic to put in their signature, showing off their clan. However they're not neccessary, because sometimes they may not attract the right calibre of people to take the clan forward.

Di skull is probably the best, so many clans copied that.

A lot of clans did copy the DI skull, that's true.

 

Overall I think graphics don't make much difference, unless they're exceptional. If they stand out from the other clan's graphics, then they're more lilely to get noticed and that will help with recruiting. Certain clans like EoS, for instance, have always had good signatures (probably something to do with the AIDS members) and that makes them stand out to me. To an extent SE's graphics were the same way.

My all-time fav's are Rot, Eos & TT

Graphics have never really impressed me as anything other than a monkey see monkey do. I much prefer seeing something unique though some of the signatures are entertaining after a few people have it it's boring. A signature and avatar are to express something unique about yourself not a generic stock image.

I mostly like the works of EoS, Adelais and Shadow Elves.

Pretty important. It can attract prospective recruits
