Defence Protocol Alpha - Revision Alpha:

Order of importance = Self, captain, medics, scientists, engineer, cargo, tactical. (Please do not complain, this is the order of importance that would have been given IRL)
Accept suicide missions for anything but self.

In case of combat:
Run bio scanners.
Isolate unathorized alien lifeforms.
If alien lifeforms are in a section sepparated from all members of the crew, lock down section and vent atmosphere.
If alien lifeforms are in a section with crewmembers, lock down section and but open for code [2012]. (I did not chose it for the year but the date)
If alien lifeforms are spread out in the ship, lock down isolated aliens and uncompromized sections of importance.
If alien lifeforms have taken over the ship, lock down crewmembers and vent atmosphere elsewhere.
In case of boarding in process, lock down and vent atmosphere in bays and airlocks once opened ou[bleep]ds. Do not vent atmosphere in sections where crewmembers are apearant.
In case of ship-to-ship combat designate crewmembers to suitable posts and lock down non-importent sections.

In case of fighting between crewmembers, isolate and lock down fighters then issue incapacitating agent.

In case of computer errors, assign lifesupport to sepparate processor and reboot system, if inefective then refragment.

My last act under the Nexaduro Protocol:

Chi is locked out of interfacing with the AI, in regards to in any way controlling ship functions.

Aaand delete Primary Nexaduro Protocol, hand off a duplicate override to Nero, retain 42363 and rename it Margana (lock this code phrase), and retain AI Override Code Alpha (disallow it from creating further override codes).

There you go Captain, good luck!

I'm retaining use of Override Code Alpha, Dusty, simply because I might need to deal with some issues involving crewmembers when you aren't here. I feel best suited to moderate AI commands out of the others currently playing.

I think that should go to Ross. (The override code)

Thanks for the support. :)

Anyways, Dusty has primary control right now. I would, however, suggest that I not be excluded from AI management.

I really like playing around with Protocols, and I'm less likely to blow stuff up on purpose or by accident. All you need is good sentence structure and LOTS of contingency plans.

Well Ross IS second in command, and I guess he doesn't want it, I don't want it (I'm 3rd) I guess there is no power chain after that so I think it should stay Nex's.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

It was discovered, by Swiss Scientists, that the written word is never good enough to explain something in full detail.

As such the AI was given the Sanity Protocol, which is an extrapolation of the Human Brain.

Warning, AI data files have been updated.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

AI Override Code Alpha can be used by both me and Nero, so we don't have to open a private chat with the AI or blurt the passcode in public chat whenever we want to access the main Protocol.

It's not a responsibility for anyone but Nero, as he can hand it out as he wishes and retract it from anyone but me (I can step down by choice if he's really miffed). And it's overridden by the main Protocol.

A really long range weapon like a sniper might be a good call, as well as anti armor.

Moving on.

AI Override Code Alpha. Please prepare a salami-and-swiss cheese sandwich.

EDIT: Mather, you didn't read my post a few minutes back, did you.

I got a ripper beam from the Japanese, if anyone wants to figure out how to make them so that they can be freely accessed in the cargo bay.

Oooh, whoops.

AI, the Nero Protocol currently contains an order preventing Chi from modifying AI programs, correct?

EDIT: Nero, the Protocol is only an override system. If you haven't forbidden it, it's not forbidden. The AI will alert you though, so you can counter Mather's actions. Perhaps you could create a protocol preventing Mather from opening doors or some such thing without permission. You'll also want to choose a new password.
