They are good trading partners that is all. China and North Korea do not hold military alliances or pacts, to my knowledge.

I'm still thinking of Kim Jong Ill jokes until things become a bit more clear. Call me self-centered, but there's too many things to be worrying about right now than wrapping my mind around the enormity of war.

People get so scared nowadays... it's already been established by the UN that WW3 can never happen. EDIT: /new/ is flooded with Korean war topics... it's just incredible what could happen in a day with news like these. There really is no way they can be counted as one country. They are poles apart in governing systems and basically everything. There is probably nowhere else in the world where two countries, so different are so close. North Korea really needs to be dealt with. They have pushed their luck for far too long now, and the tension they are causing in that area is too much. Especially with Kim jong Il's son taking over the country, we could definitely see some escalation of the troubles there very soon. Want to be my friend?
