we'll ofte. n if a noob ask me for somthing ill give him full addy, mith. well a few weeks agho i felt generous gave a noob 100k, now i cant turn friends on lol, every time i do i get a msg from him, i was hacked can i have free stuff and then 300 more msgs from his friends... well i try and help noobs but sometimes, they dont appertiate it enough i guess.

Giving stuff to lower levels if they ask for it isn't smart.

 

 

 

Why? It's better to teach them how they have to make money. And if they don't want to listen, you say, well, i've tried to explain you how to make money, or you do it, but don't beg anymore for stuff, because i just taught you how to obtain them yourself.

Yeah, I don't see many higher lvls and rarely do I ever get solicited by anyone under lvl 15 (which I guess is between knowing squat and getting the hang of things). But my one friend PMed me and was like DUDE i got hacked and lost my addy stuff and like 50k (which is a lot to me i know I'm a noob). So I lend him my full mith backup set. And then I go out and buy myself a rune b axe (cuz I'm worth it too!) and then I'm like you should check it out and hes like does that mean ur not using ur addy b axe? I'm all, "yeah, but that's my backup in case I die. Don't you have someone else to ask for help too?"

I know what you mean. They're just so ungrateful, they should know how lucky they are we didn't just teleport away, not to mention actually give them the stuff.

I find it is better to help, rather than give. While some will basically blow you off because they are only trying to get something, there are some who really want to learn, and I suddenly find myself with someone popping up and giving me unasked for things, like coal or iron...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

One of the best things I have found is that by helping rather than giving, I seem to avoid the ones who are just trying to use me as a sugar daddy, and instead make some friends. Of course, the option to remove friends is always there if they are just pretending.....

i kept him on my friends list and spent my money on pickaxs.. after minning 2k coal and selling it.. i chnaged to his world tracked him down and traded him and gave him 200k...

Every person is different, so some will accept the gift and leave you be whilst others will want more. Try to remember, there are real people on the end of the computer so I think it is good to find a bit about them and try to be friends before I give them gifts or help.
