New Maxed Player Bandos boss Method?

Ok, i came up with a idea for perhaps more kills at Bandos and i wanna hear what you guys think.

 

The idea is this:

 

Teamsize: 6 players

Main weapon: Chaotic longsword

Special weapon: Elite Excalibur

 

Summon familiars: Pack yak for the 4 to 5 players (attackers) and Pack yak with scrolls for Tanker /or+1 more player

 

Steel titans will kill loads Sergs/or if it goes on boss, helps killing. And more serg kills>More food drops>And there is always Elite excalibur. And 40 hp heal should last for a team of 6 Chaotic longsword players who are all maxed levels. Tankers task is to scroll bank ourg bones and other valueable drops. This way the 4 to 5 attackers can keep their inventory empty for restore potions/food. + Tanker can also bring extra prayer pots for Team. Divine or Elysian shield can also be used, but the idea SHOULD maybe work well even without. But i would like to think that it would work for sure with Divine/Elysian.

 

What do you guys think? Remember Sergs can drop Bandos items and Ring of wealth may affect it, and that Steel titans spec owns Sergs often.

6 man team is way to many not worth it TBH. 3 man or 4 man is a max I ever go with. You have 6 guys go in two teams of three. Then race for the most kills in a hour or most money made etc... Drop the EEE and get claws. Every person that takes it seriously there has claws. With Chaotics claws turm and overloads. You will not get to many crashers if any. I tank 99 percent of the time I go. With a decent team 100 plus kc is a joke to get. We stay til we get bored basically. Just have attackers start with yaks. Then use uni's after. You get enough restores and food there to supplement the team easy.

It is true that more players means less cash when Bandos items are dropped. But i think that if the 5 Steel titans kill enough sergs, that it could earn extra cash. After all more kills>more chances of drops.

The question is really that. And you can't be to sure if 6 Man 5 steel titans can do until you try.

By the time the steel titan touches the Minion Graar would already be dead, in a 6 man. So you won't get any more kills. You might get double the amount of kills a Duo team gets/h but now that youre in a 6man it makes your profit a lot less. Bad idea.

each minions drop rate is 1/3000 for an item. meaning each minion will drop tassets/chest/boots on average 1 out of 3000 times. if you didn't know

I'm all for innovation and challenging the status quo but come on. Perhaps if this was mentioned as a duo or something, but SIX players, especially when you are limited by spawn timers >_>

How can you logically think that this method would beat the regular one at all? I mean, have you been to GWD and killed Bandos as/with a maxed player? I cannot see how you possibly fathomed this idea. Doing anything othe than clawing him out with 5/6 man (complete overkill) is just silly and your method is just asking to get crashed by smarter people.

Considering that I fit that criteria, I'll reiterate that OP's idea is bad. You'd probably make more money killing level 2 men in Edgeville (what with having six people, being crashed by much better teams multiple times, etc).

After all 6 claws is more deadly than 6 Steel titans considering u can use it on boss and kill faster and like Levon pointed out have better drop rates as well. I can¨t believe i missed that. <_<

Also, here's another way to think about it.

One man will get x loot.

If you wanted to six man - you would somehow have to make it such that in the long run: your six man team will get 6x loot which on average means a 6 times faster kill time (which isn't very probable)

 

What's wrong with having dclaws + a steel titan though? :P

The limiting factor of Bandos kills is spawn time. That's the reason that a 6 man team will never do better than solo/duo, GP/hour-wise.

The problem isn't killing fast, the problem is the respawn times are low.

I like where you're going with this but there's going to be some testing involved.

People should go on a few runs with 2/3 people or even solo's.

 

It would be more beneficial to look for the optimal number of people in a group.

However, just due to organization and spawn rate - I don't ever think 6 people groups are ever going to be viable.

-The kill rate per hour has to be 6 times more then a solo and I'm not sure if that even makes sense.

 

However, this theory should be looked into for multiple bosses and see what's the most efficient way to kill specific bosses.

Put it this way- a soloer spends around half their time waiting for the boss to respawn, if not more. That means that if 3 people killed the boss instantly every time it spawned, they would have a lower killrate per person than a solo. That's what we're dealing with here.
