Don't use a chaotic crossbow & get a deflector if you care to. It's a good investment.

If you are going to spend money on recharging it, you might as well use a better dps weapon (kxbow).

He has 51 herblore so kxbow is out of the question. Rigour would be a better investment than ccbow imo.

What does herblore have to do with kxbow? He can just use Antifire Pot + Pro Magic.

Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous.

It still amazes me how many people aren't aware of the fact that protect/deflect magic and a normal antifire pot are sufficient to stop all dragonfire damage from frost dragons. If you've been using super antifires, you've been wasting your money.

I don't often hunt frosts but thanks for the tip

Was under the assumption that you'd need super antifires for frosts. Ignore my previous comment.

My friend says they are basically free to use at frosts (super antis).

You don't need them as will_h pointed out. You're better off using normal antifires and keeping supers for places you need them at.

I know, but my friend won't use normal antis.

xpx's guide mentions that it's dangerous to ss flick with normal antifire potions

You don't ss flick with ranged which is what the OP is using.

Just mentioned it so people don't think to always use normal antifires

Super antifires over normal antifires are basically free herblore xp, so i'd say it's always worth using them if you can make them. And no, they don't have any advantage over normal for ranging/maging.

Would karils crossbow earn more money/h than rune c bow? It's not really the recharging costs as much as the bolt racks that i think are going to cut into profits, and since luring takes up most of the time anyway would the speed of karil's be that much more significant?

Also not being able to use a deflector and arma plate for for the extra range bonus seems to be another downside for karils.

Rune cbow+ runite bolts(the best bolts to use) are better than karils crossbow, mostly because of the longer range.
