While we're on this tangent, I Wanna be the Fangame. An even harder version of IWBTG

Contra has roms, name should be changed to 'hardest original/non-rom game on the internet'. Also, I'm pretty sure puzzle pirates counts as hardest mmorpg, seeing as it takes years to be successful.

Ah Y!PP. I lost half my life to that game. So yeah, I agree with you fourside. Spent about 3-4 years, and I was basically still as poor as I was when I started it :V

I started puzzle pirates in 2005. Entered with no mmorpg/poker experience, left with 18000dubloons and a poker hobby (oh, and I had 2grand frigates, but didn't use'm much as they were a pain in the arse to stock/paint). Mmhmm, puzzle pirates: you either win huge by playing poker there or you end up being poor the entire time.

I was good at Poker! It's just that the thought of Pillaging to get like a few scraps of PoE made me shiver. Oh and I preferred Sub oceans (Cobalt to be precise), so no Dubs there.

I've never quite figured it out, but it's a fun little distraction.

Although it's not as difficult as QWOP, I believe that this game deserves a mention.

It's like Trials HD, which is pretty hard. I believe that RoosterTeeth had a Rage Quit pertaining to Trials.

If you want the hardest game ever, then download and play "I wanna be the guy".

If you want something hard, try pretty much any roguelike game. They're all ridiculously hard. The original one (Rogue, made in 1980) is possibly the hardest of them, though mostly because it's too random.

I tried running, and got ok at it.

 

Basically when you start, press both O and W, then both P and W, done at the right time the guy starts to run. It's all a matter of getting the timing right after that, but it often ends up with you flat on your face after getting your trailing let stuck.
