Whip + Dragon Defender, Saradomin Sword, Korasi's Sword + Dragon Defender

 

Those would be the top 3 without including dung weapons, ignore what brad said as he's obviously trolling.

I'm guessing whip+dragon defender would be the best for you given your stats.

whip/dragon defender or sara sword is good, bgs is not.

Honestly, I wouldn't discount BGS as 'trolling' because LRC creatures are said to be weak to crush. That being said, whip + defender will still be better, but I liked to use my SGS on those tasks and I often went kill for kill with people who were arround my level who used whip.

Yes they are. In a topic where the OP specifically asks for the best weapon the godswords are outclassed by so many other options, all of which are cheaper, that they arent worth mentioning at all.

Wut? This doesn't need to be the metagame discussion board for this argument to be warrented. OP asked for the best (he even put it in all caps) weapon to use at LRC outside of chaotics. The godsword is not even close to being the best, a whip, saradomin sword, korasi's sword, zamorakian spear, dragon scimitar, and brackish blade are all superior for a fraction of the cost.

Thanks, you aren't too bad yourself. But yea, go with the bgs for the crush style. If you want a cheaper option then barrelchest anchor is awesome.

sara sword>gs

ss has a crush option and is way faster, zammy spear is also better. Both are much cheaper than a gs.

I used to use a whip+rune defender on them and rarely missed. I don't know who came up with this "weak to crush" stuff, because they don't seem to be exceptionally weak to anything specific. Just use the best weapon you have, which is most likely a whip. Godswords are too slow and end up dealing less damage over time than a simple abyssal whip. The only time you should use them is for their special attacks, or against monsters with very high defence; living rock creatures are not such monsters.

Agreed. Rubber chicken's fun ratio far outweighs that of the high hits from a chaotic maul. It's just math...

Barrelchest anchor>BGS imo. It's also cheaper, so you can save up for that amazing dfs.
