Between L4D, HL2, TF2, and Portal, Valve did establish plenty of likable characters, as evidenced through the amount of meme-attention they receive throughout the net. I wouldn't be surprised if they tried their luck in non-video-game fields of media. I anticipate a lot from Valve in the future as they're one of the only modern day game companies to actually "Wow" me. Who knows? They could be the first to pull off the 'video game --> show' thing successfully; they know how to win the public's heart with their characters and plots and they are constantly striving for something new, so they do have the resources and mind power to pull it off. For men the average ratio is .94 and for women it's around one, my ratio is 1.04. Things aren't just black and white, and biological components don't tell the whole story, but one set of accepted values is far too narrow for our society.
