Well, to me, it's a question of how long it took. Also for people who can't "buy" the chain in the first place, like me, we're more concerned on the bill and price of things that you richer folk. But I would still share, just small amounts. I don't believe it would be equal, because even if they got the drops on other kills, you did the most damage for that fight. I don't think EVERYONE shares 300 gp. But nonetheless, whoever did their part gets a share.

I would share it, maybe not completely equally but for the most part equally. It really depends on the group of people I went with too.

To the starter of this thread and anyone who said they wouldn't share it I'll remember to never become your friend's..you people are so attached to this game you hug your pixels before you hug your friends. Those little red pixles won't last forever...friendships will, I also noticed in the sigs of people who said they wouldn't were all around lvl 80 - 70....nubs

A dragon chain drop? First i would share it with the people around (My Friends) who helped me killing the Kalaphite Queen noting if there is not alot of people (15 and lower). In that situation i would share it amongst the people who helped me the most, or the closest friends. But back to if i got the drop. Now if i had gotten the drop, i would probably be shocked for a second or two, i mean such a good thing hasn't happened to me before, and i would buy some equipment for the skills, combat, a Santa Hat and a blue mask. I would use 2Mill hosting a drop party. But... Like any of thats ever going to happen :cry: .

Well, I've been present for 4 d chain drops at the KQ (all over the last month since I got 70 defense).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1) I went with a group of higher lvls for my first time at the KQ. I was lvl 98 and went with a 92, a 98, a 106, and a 115. We had only killed 5 when the lvl 115 called a chain drop, and it was! The 92 somehow got the drop, and he shared it among us. We all got 5.2M each.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2) I went with a group of 4 guys around my lvl. I got the drop, and shared it equally among everyone. 6M each!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3) I soloed her a few times, and got lucky on the 19th solo kill. I didn't share it! 24.1M.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4) I went with a group of friends, and my lvl 96 friend got the drop (in full rune!) He did not share...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5) Soon! I've killed over 170 with two close friends and we will certainly split it.

if was there with buddies from my list i'd have to split.. If i didn't know the people i'd be wearing a dragon chain lol.... Usually when i go to KQ i go with random people they think i am good cause i have 99 range not sure why

I'd share for sure. Not only are they my friends, but your portion of the money should be more then enough to satisfy you anyway.

if u dont share with ur group for kq then i really hope that u somehow die and lose it, as well as ur whole bank, then get ur ip banned so u can never play runescape again!

i must say, the people who go out to a dangerous place with their friends and then backstab them for fake money, should deserve no friends, cause ud just be a mizer, in my own opinion, id share it equally to my close friends(that went), if the people who just joined the group that i dont know, id prolly give em a few 100k or sumthing, but if i knew they were a friend of a friend id give em a better share.

I went KQ-ing a while back with two other people, and on our fourth kill we got a Chain. Unfortunately, I didn't get the drop. The person who did get it immediately put it on and said, "Oh cool, D Chain!".

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then he teleported to Camelot and proceeded to put us both on his ignore list, essentially screwing us out of 7m. Do you KNOW how that FEELS?!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

EDIT: I would rather that you just pretend it was something else!! If you decided not to share "100 Mith Arrows" that's fine, but if I KNEW you HAD A CHAIN!! But DIDN'T SHARE!! I only go with friends, and so of course I'd share it. Except, one guy if he got it I know wouldn't share. He's the type who'd kill you in the pking squad if you have over 100k of stuff on you.

I'd share it if it was an IRL friend, or one that I've known for a long time. If it was some random guy who said "hey lets go kill kq," I'd agree from the start to either keep own drops or share them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Although If it was dustdevils, I'd keep it.

Id sell it and share the money between my friends, and more towards the people that helped alot. I can't beleive these selfish noobs who would keep the d chain all to themselves.... Kids these days..... :roll:
