Yea, I need to work on getting chainmail to look right...

Very nice but you have to make the chainmail into actual links of chains for it too look right.

Thanks everyone for the comments, I'm going to work on his face some and see if I can't get the chainmail to look more like chainmail :) I'll post whatever progress I have when I have it.

That chainmail looks awesome. Excellent detail, can't wait to see where you're headed with it :P

It's probably just me, but is the head slightly too small for the body? Also something about the nose area looks off to me, but I can't put my finger on it.

Yea, sometimes I have a tendency to make heads too small, always workin on that. I also felt the nose area needed some work so made a few changes to that and added some details specifically to the chainmail, what do you all think?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chain is looking much better now, but why don't you make it more "see through"? Like adding a little skintone pixel in the middle of each chain?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

About the head, I think the size is ok, due to the perspective, as he's inclinated it will look smaller :wink:

The head doesn't look too small. It's the angle I think.

Worked a little more on it, added some coins and worked on his right arm and hand. Coins still need some work...

Hehe, no, not ms paint. I use Photoshop cs and thats it. I didn't intend the symbol to look like batman, just turned out that way, now I need to change it *whine*
