I may be being dense, but none of those clues particularly point to any obvious answer.

It's not sailing unless you can name a three-lettered-vessel that ends with "n"

I'm thinking the highlighted C2 down is "Bring"

A bottle is a vessel of drink/liquid.

Doh, got it in my head it was I1 (down) nevermind!

I don;t think C2 down is bring anymore; because that long word is probably the item name and the only word tht fits letter wise begining with N tht is a f2p rs item is newspaper; which mucks up sword and sailing.

 

I think e5 down is "ballad"

 

A ballad is sung often so thats a musical pice.

That's true, but then the last word would have to be a number, and there's no number ending in 's'.
