Gmail master race filters them all into my spam folder though. Richard Bong seems like a nice guy.

September 5, 201114 yr I made many emailaccounts for registration at forums, rs and so on. Exactly on the emailadress I only use for personal things (didn't even use it for facebook) I get this RS (and WoW) spam. I'm 100% sure my emailaddres is nowhere on the internet <_<.
September 5, 201114 yr You dont neccesarily need hundreds of email addresses for stuff. When I sign up to stuff I use my gmail account and append +whatever to the end. For example. if my email address was [email protected] I could register to amazon using the address [email protected] or tipit at [email protected]. If for example I start getting spam sent to a particular one then I can blackhole that address and use a different one. That way I can continue to use one mailbox without having millions of accounts floating around that i need to remember for eternity. True, but it would be pretty impractical to have a different password and email for each forum. I do have a different email form runescape to that for forums and I get spam and scams only in the "forums mailbox". Examine ChenGMT (level: 138)

This is true. I am not aware of any possible way that an virus can infect your computer simply by opening an email, given that you're using a reasonably up to date email program/browser and OS. This is true. I am not aware of any possible way that an virus can infect your computer simply by opening an email, given that you're using a reasonably up to date email program/browser and OS. It's the attachments and downloads that you need to be worried about. It used to ring true when most people didn't use web based email services - back in the days when people used Microsoft Outlook, it would pre-load everything when you opened it up, and thus 'opening emails' could be rather dangerous. Nowadays, emails tend to disable remote images and disallows automatic attachment downloads.
