What can I say, I like Drowtales. Maybe my mind has just started filtering out all the apostrophes.

Not beef, biff. I'm Norwegian, remember?

So then I said 'I'm Norwegian' and everyone laughed.

:wall:

Biff is the Norwegian work for steak... well, one of the two three words actually, a biff is pure meat, a steik has a bone in the middle and a kotelett has a bone on the edge.

English is the English word for English.

Its so funny, I practically fell out of my seat laughing.

No wait, I have a sense of humour and don't consider random words to be excessively funny.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Ooo, Dungeoneering...like how it was when I first came here? Or by the numbers? I wouldn't mind using my Maj'la Tairn character again :D

I want to try out another dungeoneering idea, I can run most days as it's summer hols, but running too much means people either stop turning up because of other commitments or it becomes stale

So I can do tri weekly, or twice a week, as one a week will make it too slow for me on the summer holiday.

As Leiana or also trying out a new dungeoneering I can work out days with her so we don't intefere with eachother.

I was thinking of making a world with a bit of history and you place yourselves in that history, with already some skills, as Retech seems to be a bit annoyed with starting out weak again. I'll have an actual combat system this time, because what I did in Cursed Planet was pretty much roll a dice and if the number was high you did good, and there was no fixed 'high number' it was just what I felt like.

I was thinking of having it as more of a campaign, so it's like DnD but with dungeoneering-esque rules. As I do not know enough about DnD to actually GM a game of that.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

I'm fine with people giving me ideas for the story, adding in side quests for their own characters. I think Grim did that for Paul at one point when we went to a temple.

Well, perhaps it would be too difficult to start off in my realm of reasonable skills, as Jen was already somewhat of an archmage Lich by then, but if you're making a game without skills, then it would probably work better as regular characters (as in, kinda "normal" people). And it was more about playing an old character that I never finished playing that starting randomly at a higher level of play. (Sometimes high level play in Pathfinder feels that way).

Although I am probably more intrigued by your Dnd thing, because we could help you in dealing with the mechanics, while you worked with the story.

Resistance, not tuesday, since I've got players for Cyber World. Time it so I can play after school (I get home at 2:30pm eastern time)

Ico, If I get no one in the next week for Dungeoneering, I'll lock the topic and you can create a new one.

Nex, Drowtales is awsome.

It's not a matter of what you prefer, but rather what's best for both mod and players, Resistance. Let the man make his game, if there's a major issue I'm sure he can adapt to some degree.

EDIT: WHOOOPS I thought you were saying something about ICU. Disregard this post. :P

I created the rules for my D&D game but its on my other computer, all thats left is writing the story.

Nexaduro, I meant in a purely optional way.

It's not DnD if you change all the rules. :P

Ah. I thought you meant you had read it in the past.

I'll warn you now, it can be a little confusing at times.

... But then, the prologue is the most confusing bit, so if you like that you should be fine.

Also it's got some degree of gore, but nothing really serious.
