Holy crow. I've started a new game of Minecraft, and began digging a mineshaft. All of a sudden, WHAM! I find a tiny cave entrance filled with iron and coal. I mine all of that out, and there's A GIANT FRICKING UNDERGROUND WORLD. It's bigger than what I've seen of the surface. There's lots of resources, and what I think is an underground ocean... it seems to extend forever. Every time I think I've cleared out an area, I hit one more resource, which I strip out, and run into a new, even more complex and massive cave.

 

I need to start making signs. There aren't enough torches in the universe to guide me back to the surface.

Are you using the biome mod? You really should. 200 chunk large deserts are awesome to build stuff on.

Are you using the biome mod? You really should. 200 chunk large deserts are awesome to build stuff on.

 

Damn biome mod, I hate it soooo much! I want to play it so much it just doesn't work :'(.

 

Anywho, that is an extremely rare occurrence, and should be lighted asap.

No, I'm just not ready for that yet. I quite enjoy correcting people. In fact I keep swaying between being a teacher and a heart surgeon. (Life story time(: haha jk) I've wanted to be a doctor since I was 2, but I always wanted to be a teacher since starting school. So it is a hard decision.

I'm on peaceful, thankfully. :D

 

I think I'm going to carve it out into a series of square rooms, I fully expect to run into more caves than I can carve away anyways.

Do you know how hard it is to buy throwing knives for a girl? I don't know what she'll think is cool and what is just ridiculous. There's the symmetrical/asymmetrical blade issue, and they actually have rainbow stainless steel knives which I think are quite cool, but I don't want to get her something that might seem "girly," for a number of reasons. Also there are different blade/handle sizes, and I don't know what sort would be best.

If you're good at crafts and personalize it, then she'll probaly like it regardless.

You're buying throwing knives. As a gift. For a girl.

Also, I wouldn't get her throwing knives, unless that is one of her common interests too, or she has mentioned them lots before.

That girl is a friend, not a romantic interrest, right?

Because no matter one's interrests, a weapon just sends the wrong message.

It is one of her interests, if it's one of the people i know. He does a Medival Weaponry training course, (Which i wanted to get into but didn't think i would stay sane for it) and so does she.. And she uses throwing knives better than axes, so thats why he's going for knives.. Go for ones that would fit her hand easily (In relative, no stalker creepy wise) and that are more combat effective than bright and shiney. I'm sure anyone she uses them on would love the asthetic feel of a rainbow knife of love giving them their last moments, but knives are knives... Which is to say, not toys.

Depends...if you don't like her it sends the right message. :rolleyes:
