A few days ago I feared being bipolar, now I'm happy that I (think I) am. Pretty ironic actually, the world broke me down and as a result it no longer can affect my emotions.

Also the point where I realized it was when I noticed my teeth were freezing because I had been smiling for more than half an hour when walking home.

... Okay, maybe it's a bit more of insanity, and not bipolar stuff. Cause seriously, teeth freezing due to smiling in the cold is something i go through, and I know i'm not bipolar.

Yeah, but I was smiling and laughing insanely while trying to stop, and for the last few weeks other than that I've been so down barely cared to even leave my couch or stay awake.

Ah, Maybe so. Still, check it out with a doctor. (Harsh words alert for the faint of heart) Maybe if you didn't act like the world was trying to beat your brains out with the zombie ass of your favorite band, or that you've been drugged with enough laughing gas to last a lifetime, then you wouldn't go nuts and do crazy things.

I only go nuts after the world takes a [cabbage] on me, like at school I didn't smash my head repeadatly into the ventilation until after my computer died. (True story, I left a mark.)

As the article states it could be ADHD or a mood disorder to the tune of being manic depressive or an admitted possibility of one type of bipolar disorder.

But, then again you are self diagnosing so any conclusions you come to may very well be unreliable. Just my two cents on the matter though.

I don't have ADHD and I'm too euphoric at times to be manic depressive.

Mather, I would strongly suggest what the others have suggested, and seek the advice of a doctor. They'll be able to give you a better understanding of whats up.

Moood swings are common, and don't really need to point to a mental disorder.

Last time I went to see a doctor I ended up none the wiser than before, and let me assure you, anyone who'd try to understand my mind would either have to give up or end up in a mental hospital. That place is a wreck buzzing with random thoughts varying from complex calculuses to mental images not fit for human comprehension.

 

Though why try when in the case that if there is something wrong with me then it's for the best.

How do I apply to be moderator?

They pick you.

Moderators are chosen by the admins from the community in question. There is no real "application" to become one and in general if you ask to become a mod, you probably won't become one. On a note that may be interested to you, we may have a hegemony starting up tomorrow (if I can get a fire started under it's creator).

They choose you, i beleive. And i don't think you'll be a good one, sorry to say.

Sometimes they ask you (Ross and Nex), some times there is a recruitment drive and you are invited to apply (Me) ...and sometimes it just happens that you are in conversation X and were vocal about one thing or another (Hawkxs).

 

Trying to 'become' a mod shouldn't be your goal, though, your goal should be the welfare of others...Not as a law unto yourself, on a mission to remove everything you disagree with, but as part of a community, be that the Moderator Community, the Admin Community or the Thread or Forum Community.

 

And it is always best to wait until you are invited into that community before you act on their behalf, so start in an open community, like Falador Tavern, show yourself to be a good community member by giving well balanced and rational opinions, though knowing when your opinions matter, and when they only serve to annoy.

 

Then wait for your opening.

Holy crap, I've finally got my non crappy desktop working again (And let me tell you, it looks [bleep]ing amazing). Now to get an external harddrive and transfer some data from my laptop and then... play dwarf fortress on a 40" monitor.
