I posted in falador library when it was active, and had atleast one thread there, I think. And I believe I'm called a library mod, because tavern's a subforum of the Library, though it's not like much happens there now anyway. Also, the idea with having 2 falador tavern mods is something like this, very few people in the tavern report eachother, and normal (global) mods can't take the time to read through every single post in hundred page rp's, so they need to have mods be people who actually take part in the rp's. Anyhow, I'll be able to continue playing as normal, and running the zombie rpg.

I might as well say it.

 

A while ago, during the period when the Admin where helping the Tavern through a difficult patch, I suffered a serve bout of depression(as some of you know from Hegemony suddenly collapsing) and decided that it would be best if Falador Tavern had another Mod.

 

The main reason for this was that I want to step down and just get away from the Tavern, but I couldn't put you guys through that...I know from my dealings with Varrock Library that when a mod disappears and no one steps into their place...or worse...the wrong person steps into their place...Things fall apart.

 

So I worked out an agreement with the Admin, who were considering a second mod to lighten my load anyway, where I would take 2 weeks off, collect myself, while they found an emergency replacement if I did stand down, and we would decide what to do at the end of that.

 

I recovered from the worst of it, and it has diminished considerably thanks to the support of everyone here.

 

Thus (Cancel the party) I am staying for the moment, but we, myself and the admins, decided it was still neccessary for someone other than myself, to become properly versed with the Tavern(Or properly versed with the responsibilities of Modship, as it turned out :thumbsup: ).

 

 

Although there were many other good candidates(It wasn't as simple as 'Doom is sane, she'll do'), Doom's sanity AND history with the Tavern, as well as her many other shining qualities, made her a clear frontrunner.

 

So I congratulate her for being promoted to co-leader of the asylum. =P

I mean, there are two places you find people talking about fairies, elves, gnomes, dwarves, and MAGICAL GIANT BEASTS OF DOOM. And that's at either a crazyhouse or at an RPG table/festival/forum/padded cell/somethingelse.

As Icu said, we could just stay out those topics, that most of us don't want to go into anyways.

The only people who needed a talking-to about the rules were Mather and Hex. And that was only once. So, the rules obviously aren't restricting us TOO much.

 

And if we keep going as we did for the first 700 pages or so of Dungeoneering, we should be fine when it comes to "avoiding future incidents."
