Uhhh it was taken like 6 months ago, and I did re-dye my hair again but I did get it kinda wrong and it has a tint of blue, also I did try to get a red part on my hair again but it doesn't really show.

oi, mather, how about trying to make a sketch of one of the charecters? a really descriptive one would be quite nice.

There's something wierd with the facial expression of the sketch. Sorta looks like you devolved several hundred thousand years from the picture to the sketch. It's probaly simply the shading with the face, but it looks very good. :thumbup:

Good shaping on the body, the head seems a little too small and has the wrong angle. Also, the details need a little work.

The head's angle was something I noticed myself early, I just didn't care to redraw it, and the details were in the start just supposed to be like the major folds and such. Also note that I "never" draw and that until two years ago I thought I sucked at it.

 

Right now I gotta walk my dog but if you can provide any detailed descriptions I can try to draw one coloured cartoon version and one of those black-and-white "accidental overdetailings".

err?well, why no draw my charecter, hes in a green robe with a fancy tree emblazoned on it, usually ith the hood up, with either a battleaxe or saff (you shoose) on his back.

Ehh, what does he look like? And where on the cloak is the tree placed?

center of the chest. same as me, medium nose, mouse brown hair about half the foreheads length, medium heigh (around 5'6) with an obsession with the colour green. that enough?

The robe goes all the way to the ground, concealing both legs and feet? His hair, is it lying flat or standing up? Does the robe have a hood? Eye colour? Face shape?

well, i have no effing idea about the face shape. jsut put it as plain, really. the hair is lying flat, and the robe does have a hood. he usually keeps his eyes closed, but his eyes shine green when they are open. the robe goes down to the ground.

MEGA OT: im wearing a pot as a helmet for some odd reason.

Count me out of character design, I made what you described look like a mutant priest on drugs and a Chinese genderless with an odd wardrobe. I can't draw without a visual aid.

For the actual webcomic I don't think true to life detailed pictures would be popular, I mean the size of a frame is about 4x5 cm and that's not going to hold a properly amazing drawing. Now, I was experimenting with drawing people without legs at all only feet; it's due to the clothes that they wear but everyone wears these done up trenchcoats.

The drawing depends on the moments tension, if I am trying to convey epicness the drawing style excesivly changes to more realistic and windswept. If something funny it becomes more 'chibi' with the people being badly drawn and the background resembling block colours.

I am aiming for consistently funny with the epic moments.

I've drawn some people in different states and experimented with shading.

I think you got the neck proportions and facial features a little off, Mather.

 

For the actual webcomic I don't think true to life detailed pictures would be popular, I mean the size of a frame is about 4x5 cm and that's not going to hold a properly amazing drawing. Now, I was experimenting with drawing people without legs at all only feet; it's due to the clothes that they wear but everyone wears these done up trenchcoats.

I always draw coats or robes, because I can't draw creases on trousers properly.

Yeah, also funny how a big neck can make the head seem too small, hell my dog looks like a freak from some angles because of it. Optical illusions I say, darn them and their wierd causes.

 

And the face is by far the hardest part...
