You could run the session yourself...

I could... But then I wouldn't be a player...

I mean, I might try at some point, but it's really not a role I fully believe I can fulfill. We'll see.

You like trying new character concepts and playing lots of different guys. Clearly this is true since you frequently change your character a lot.

= DM material

A one-shot interesting character concept that is going to get killed pretty quickly is an ideal NPC.

The only difference between a disagreement between friends, an argument between strangers, and a feud between enemies is the ability to reconcile.

I've decided to start planning a campaign. Retech, could you help me build a Halfling Wizard NPC? I've never made one before. Just suggestions and such. Mostly non-combat oriented.

Yeah sure, shoot me a PM with a general outline.

I am personally excited by this. :D

But remember not to get too stuck into planning that it doesn't get off the ground.

I shall play, my character shall be a monocle wearing Toff, who likes cricket, and defeats his enemies with verbal dexterity.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

I'll play if you want to try dming. If I could give a bit of advice though, I'd tell you to at the very least look at one of the paizo adventure paths, as (barring kingmaker and a couple of other ones) they are fairly easy to GM.

I'll be playing some sort of Winter Witch of the good variety.

I suppose it's probably in my best interests to modify one, at least.

Where might I find the campaigns, that doesn't involve high-risk sea trading?

Way to go, me!

I managed to forget my power supply at home, so here's me using the crappy browser of my new 3DS to inform you that I might not be able to join the session tomorrow, depending on whether or not disuse is enough to conserve the battery power of my laptop and phone so that they're not dead by tomorrow evening.

Ehhh, shall we say Sunday/Next week?

My planning time went into the liberation of Koeingburg, and if Mask and Mather are only going to be here late/not at all, and with the continuing saga of Nex's internet problems, the only person who will be there throughout is Retech...and that does not bode well for the story. =P

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

My laptop claims to have 90 minutes of power left, and I could use my father's. So I'd be able to join today.

So it seems Crossroads is postponed to Sunday actually. :)

Also I've been convinced to run a mid-level Pathfinder game on the high seas. Yaaarrr pirate game, starting at level 6. Probably will start next Sunday and see how that goes.

Only restriction is your clothing should not look showy or wealthy at the start, but being aware of WBL, not going to dock from magic item totals to preserve balance. Also, as it is pirate related, swim and survival skills recommended. Everyone gets a free extra skill point per level to put in either of those skills, to mitigate the pain to low-skill classes.

Anything on the SRD that is first party, or psionics from dreamscarred press (Also on the SRD) are allowed. Anything else on case by case basis. But remember the pirate setting.

If this game is open to non crossroads players, what's the point buy level?

Yes, certainly. It is a separate thing, that I just put in the same post to save space.

Let's go with 25 points, so martials aren't gimped.
