looking pretty good, the one thing i notice that looks like it doesnt belong is the hat, theres something about it, im not sure if its the way the light comes off it (with the huge highlight only, since the fasce looks like it has a side light too) or the way it looks textured but it doesnt really seem to fit right.

The lighting/shading seems a little weird, almost reminds me of gradient-style in some areas. Other than that, I'd suggest slightly highlighting the left side of the face too, and don't forget to add more detail for the final!

It's very nice so far but for some reason the outlines give a realy bad feeling of tracing. Think about getting rid of them completely cause your shading style woudln't match any unless very very similar to the base color.

Still too dark of outlines. I say just take them out. It makes everything too flat with them.

Its really good. Nice shading and linework. However I dont like that laser green effect in the phat, it just does not look good imo.

Castle, coins, riches, is made too often in pixels these days, don't invade Shrek with such things. :P The swamp would look cool, seems like a big challenge but you'll probably take your time so good luck.

Go for the swamp, definately. You've done too much to spoil it with "rares".
