unknownmasterofnothing
bleach, I started watching after episode 3. Naruto I stopped watching for now, since it's so boring. Genshiken is a good parody on otakus. Black cat is very good kinda has a bleach aura . Samurai Champloo was good. R. Kenshin OVAs were good. I liked the english dubbed of kenshin shows better. One piece I like better in english dub. The grand prix one on CN is good. Also on CN, the one with the really long whiskers guy. Used to be a big dragon ball z fan, also dragon ball was good. Prince of Tennis Manga was good, I don't like the show. I don't remember which gundam show I watched. Yu Yu hakasho(sp?) was good. Ronin warriors was good. FLCL was good. Thats all i can think of now, but i'm sure theres more.

jaklumen
Bleach (EXTREMELY GOOD CHECK IT OUT! http://www.bleachportal.net) Hmm, there's my incentive to get a torrent program. I haven't seen much anime or read much manga myself, but I do like to catch some anime at our local gaming convention (just for reference: http://www.radcon.org/) The anime movies I've enjoyed were: Spirited Away Battle Angel Akira ...there are probably some others, but I'm not remembering them at the moment. My wife Cimmorene is a fan of the Ranma 1/2 anime series and has some of the original manga. She's also got one of the Akira graphic novels that I never really got into (or I would have tried to collect the rest of them). I also agree: subtitles ftw
12bigo12
Im also currently reading Negima! from the man who made love hina. Oh if u want to read all the Akira mangas check your local library, thats were i found mine. If you wanna buy them check out Barns & Noble. 3ngag3
I found that the dubbed Naruto is actualy quite good so far. Far better than what happened to One Piece. Also, Bobobo is hilarious.

Inheritanceaholic
Some of my favorites are: -Narto(Yay, Naruto:Shippuuden has finally been released!!) Naruto is my favorite! -Bleach -IGPX -One Piece -And mant, many more! I'm so glad I've finally found a good thread to talk about anime/manga! Not many people around here seem to want to have anything to do with it.. :ohnoes: Oh yeah, Subbs for the win! Dubbs may Rot In Pieces!
Rebdragon
Anime I watch (NO DUBS, just subtitles): Inuyasha Bleach (EXTREMELY GOOD CHECK IT OUT! http://www.bleachportal.net) Manga I read (Excellent English translation): Inuyasha Bleach Anime and manga to see soon: Naruto Full Metal Alchemist Shaman King I think someone said it, but FMA ftw, dunno why it's not on the list. Best anime of all time. Myself, I've seen Bleach up to about episode 75, it isn't that great. It's actiony, it's got cool effects, but there is absolutely no plot progression at all. I.e. nothing happens, when you look back at it. FMA>>>>>Bleach. [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series. Faux
FMA was the last anime I got into. I grew out of it when I realized nothing is ever going to top that show. :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::
Inheritanceaholic
Naruto I stopped watching for now, since it's so boring. Naruto isn't as boring now since Shippuuden was released the other day, plus you can read the manga if you like...Sorry, just had to point that out ( any sentense with naruto and boring in it at once, scare the living [cabbage] out of me, not to mention causes an imbalence in the universe...) Rebdragon
FMA was the last anime I got into. I grew out of it when I realized nothing is ever going to top that show. Indeed. I don't think I saw Ghost in the Shell, or Neon Genesis listed, or even Samurai Champloo, and still no Rurouni Kenshin, yet I saw Teen Titans. You don't sound like the biggest anime fan o_O, more like a Toonami product. Oh, and Naruto's okay, not the greatest, but it's not bad. Curse the "Believe it!" motto though. Man, I cannot believe I forgot to list those Rurouni Kenshin is one of my favorites though I sort of lost a bit of interest in it when it ended... Yeah that "Believe it!" gets on everyone's nerves, just one more reason to watch subbed version!

Rebdragon
Heh, everyone should add I hate dubbed anime to there sig! :wall: The thing about dubbed anime is that since you heard the japanese voice first, any different voice given to the character sounds off, especially since that different voice is in a different language. That's why I prefer Ed's dubbed voice over the Japanese one- I heard him talk in English first. But dear lord, did anyone here Renj's dubbed voice? I thought Naruto was bad.. but geez. Caxis
Big anime fan here. My favorite anime is Planetes, which is set in 2075 and is about debris haulers (AKA Garbage men in space.) The story is about the debris section and it's characters, and it introduces other problems throughout the series. It shows how first world countries have all the advantages of space, while countries behind them suffer through wars, poverty, and famine. There's also a bit about a terrorist group, and about humanities future in space. Another one of my favorites would be Monster. It's about a really good brain surgeon who's life is pretty much set. High position, his wife is the hospital director's daughter, and he's going to get promoted. However he's put in a position where he can either save a politician or a young boy who got shot in the head. The director orders Tenma (The doctor) to operate on the politician, but decides to operate on the boy, and saves his life. After doing this, his fiancee leaves him, he loses his position, and basically his life takes a turn for the worse. But, then the director, and two other doctors all get murdered, and Tenma is the prime suspect. As for dubbed anime, I think Ghost in the Shell, Yu Yu Hakusho, and a fe others much more than the original Japanese voices, mostly because female characters had annoying voices.. fenrir321
id like to be part of narutofan, but sadly im not. Probable because i spend most my time making up my own stories that tie lots of anime together in a timeline like inuyasha, samuarai champloo, ruruoni kenshin, Zero no tsukaima, THEN Naruto, and to top it all off Trinity Blood (but thats only a few of them)
