Great... from the looks of it the Dragon 2H will be monster drop only, not to mention in wilderness areas, so it will be like 30+ mil when it first comes out

And the monster is the only 1 that drop the weapon, unlike the kbd that does not drop a unique item.

most likely this thing will cost millions over what it is worth in bonuses :P

My point is is that Jagex needs to stop making dragon monster drop only. What that does is continue to blow it out of proportion. I have said it hundreds of times; somthing lower on the 'smithing table' (and general store prices) should NOT be allowed to have a market value higher than somthing higher on that table. (eg; Dragon chain 23 mil, D legs 2.5... yeah, makes a LOT of senese). And now Jagex seems to not really care about it anymore, because they aren't taking any steps to remedy the problem.

Sounds like whenever the wildy-monster update is released is gonna be a great time to green-drag/agility/treasure-trail/rune-mine.

That will only distract the pro PKers. The nooby ones will continue to "DM" in low level.

Everyone is speaking about D2H, it still can be D pick...

Look

since he knew it was bigger than him. Fans of dragon weapons

Pics are not considered weapons imo

I suggest you rely less on your opinion, and more on the Runescape Manual.

Whats the reason of a forum if people can't express their opinions? Isnt the point of a forum for people to dicuss their outlook on the topic?

Man, buddy, you apparently didn't read his opinion.

I was pointing out that, although he opined that the pickaxe wasn't a weapon, the Runescape manual has it listed as one. Therefore, it clearly is a weapon.

Make opinions all you like, however, if they're clearly wrong, I'll point them out.

I understand what you are saying but when most people talk they don't use technical statements like that.

When someone says weapons they usually mean something used for the sole purpose of fighting (and maby lookin good 8) ). If they were talking bout a pic they would probably say tool or "Helpfull item". I hope you see my point.

the simple fact taht they arent smithable and probably never will be mean they dont care about teh smithing table when it comes to d items

Good point, they should make getting good stuff more stratagie and logical, the making of clues took them closer to that.

Yeah, but it's Jagex doing the talking, and if they call something a weapon in their manual, it's logical to assume they call it a weapon when they're talking about it. Look no further than the dragon axe drop. That's as much of a weapon as a pickaxe, and they called it a weapon.

When i first read it I was very excited, and a bit mad at Trixstar cause he was so pesimistic.

But if you look closer at it: a new dragon weapon, why???

Whip is the best training weapon (not some kind of dragon weapon), the new weapon wont be faster xp. Dharok hits the highest, and i dont think this weapon will hit more, or itr would be "unfair" for dharok owners. It will probably be another mediocre to bad weapon, eg dragon halberd.

However, in the wildy, in multi, wieha! Wish I were a member :D

Sounds interesting, i'll look forward to the wilderness update and new dragon weapon. Will be chaos when the wilderness update comes out, especially when it's in multicombat.

Also maby the 100th quest will have the d2h as prize u get from finishing.

If you go with past updates for dragon weapons, they were always sold after a quest and armor dropped by NPC's. So I firmly belive that new mega monster will drop dragon pickaxe.

Only thing I'm looking forward to is the new TT items. I wish its a new hat, red preferably with feathers

Oh and another thing they have 2 quest lined up so we maybe looking for the 100th quest next month that will probably bring a new guild higher then Legends.

RuneScape HD in 2560x1024!

I know the answer and, because I cannot convey screaming feverishly on forums without looking odd or getting banned, just imagine it as such.

If i had to guess between D2H or d pick I would say pick because D2H will be the ultimate last thing they will ever release in the dragon set...

then again u never know JAGeX

Dragon plate will be the last :P

Imagine what you'd need to do to get the plate if the square shield involves a semi-high quest and a rare monster drop. I imagine the plate being divided in 4 or 5 parts one of which is accessed through a quest, one is a rare drop like d med or shield half, one comes through a treasure trail, and one is a drop from a high level monster like kq, kbd, king daganoths or maybe even dark beast. The last part should be obtained from a minigame like the lavacape

Hmmmm where they bolded the word "rain cloud" I am thinking it is a god of some sort of something maybe zaros??? What are your ideas on this? NO FLAMING!!

that is a lot more reasonable than some of the suggestions i have seen, i like it but a god is certainly going to be harder than QK and with the wildy around it the d item better drop pretty often or its never going to enter the game

The update will also be accompanied by another smaller set of area improvements, but we'll keep those secret until they̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re released.

Wonder what this means?

Obviously the smithing table doesn't apply to Dragon items. If that would have been the case... the very first dragon item would have been the dagger.

Theres nothing wrong with the way they have the drag items being dropped. Chain is most definitly the better looking part of the drag armor. So obviously it should be more expensive.
