February 11, 201313 yr How does the PoP armour compare to Nex armour? I'm currently working on finding all the scrolls, Have 3 or 4 sofar, So just wanting to make sure it's really worth it. So how does PoP armour compare to Nex armour? Which is better and by how much, Would the PoP armour be with it to get if I won't be able to afford Nex armour too soon? Also, What levels are needed to obtain plates and when can I obtain them? Thanks! EDIT: Incase the question comes up, I'm wondering about the Superior PoP armour. February 11, 201313 yr As far as I know, there is nowhere ingame except tanking bosses where the extra defense is needed. The damage boost on Nex makes it better almost everywhere. Also, it is starting to come up that PoP armors may degrade differently and do not last as long as Nex gear.

February 11, 201313 yr I have just looked into the degrading thing, it basically renders the Superior(possibly also the inferior set) to cosmetic status. It's a complete joke.

February 15, 201313 yr Yes, but since it doesn't degrade by combat ticks, it doesn't matter if 100 things are attacking you at once. If you use an ability that puts you into combat stance, it will take 12 seconds off of the timer. In a way, it is better if you are constantly getting spammed by stuff.
February 15, 201313 yr 1 hour of nex gear is definitely nowhere near a full 12 hours of combat stance, lol. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
