July 8, 201412 yr Do you just tank the boss' magic attack, or prayer flash it? He hits through prayer so I tank it and flash mystic might. I do a task of ~110 on two invos. Sometimes one depends on food drops and if I need to bank all the loot. I am not a skiller, but i do some skills.
July 8, 201412 yr Interesting, the one time I killed a kraken boss I didn't get hit over double digits by any attacks, but that was with prayer flashing, so I thought it'd be worthwhile. July 8, 201412 yr Usually just get hit the 1s and 2s, and those hit through prayer. The boss can hit 20s but prayer stops it. On a task of 110 I only get hit by a ~20 three times max. I don't think that makes a difference though, if so minimal. I'd like to try it though as banking is so fast. I am not a skiller, but i do some skills.
July 8, 201412 yr What's your magic level, though? I'm only 83 so at regular cave kraken I have to bank pretty frequently. Using a max (that I can afford...) magic defence setup so I've got like +172 magic defence and +2 magic attack. Accuracy is barely an issue. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
July 8, 201412 yr 99 magic 99 def. I'll try next task with higher mage att and ofc less def and see if the task is substantially faster to warrant the banking. Oh and I am not a skiller, but i do some skills.
