What is a good monster to hunt for cash with welfare gear

hmm, I have never done GWD, never liked the idea of having to kill 40 monsters first, having to wear an item and then possibly being crashed. How simple is armadyl to kill, Id prefer to stay one set of gear, and one style of attack, and not prayer switching

With your levels, and welfare gear, essentially everything is open for you.

GWD is probably your best bet, and getting crashed is kind of a meh moment to be honest.

I wouldn't bother with QBD.

A lot of its drops have devalued pretty hard and I feel like its gp/hr needs to be recalculated, because I doubt still it's 3-4m/hr. More like 1m/hr.

Which doesn't seem shocking seeing as there are QBD bot scripts.

QBD's regular chests are worth ~250 k and considering you can kill 1 in 5 minutes (and that isn't even considered fast, with drygores you can do it in 2-3 min per kill) it averages out to be about 3 mil an hour not including any rare drops that are worth 500 k (all the royal crossbow pieces). 3-4 mil is still a good estimate.

For armadyl (and I only tell you this if you promise not to try to crash me 8-) ) all you do is turn on anguish (or whatever the range curse is) and soul split, spam abilities giving preferential treatment to 1. Thresholds (I do snapshot and rapid fire back to back in that order so that they come up again right next to each other) 2. AoE or chain abilities 3. Building adrenaline with basics. I did it in Karils, Barrows Gloves, archers ring, sara ammy, skill cape (t), and boots of subjugation and didn't need food at all at my stats. ofc bring a couple pieces for emergencies and go from there. I bring 1 rocktail, 3 overload flasks, 3 renewal flasks, and 10 prayer potion + nips and bonecrusher cuz I hate clutter. Get a royal crossbow at the least, its only a 2 mil investment and it's arguably the best option for ranging in the game.

Sorry, but i've seen a lot of chests only worth 100k.

And to showcase how much the price of QBD related items have fallen, RCB only costs ~718536 GP, if you buy it at mid atm.

The 3-4mil/hr estimate, i'm certain, just like the 5m/hr estimate 3man KK, included rare drops.

And with those devaluing, the estimated mil/hr also devalues.

As for your armadyl method, you're missing 1 thing.

Demon horn necklace.

With bone crusher and Demon horn neck you could just take an inventory of ovls and stay indefinitely at armadyl.

Royal crossbow pieces are about 100k each at the moment, but drops like 30 rune ores, 50 avantoe etc. are the bulk of your profit (along with steady supplies of bones and hides). I think you can still easily get 20+ kph with drygore, easily 250k per kill, supplies cost nearly nothing (food you get from QBD herself, 3 ovl 3 renew 3 superanti 6 adren 10-15 super restore pots (4) per hour). 4m/h+ is still the profit I think.

The frame piece was just luck but it brought the total to just over 1m

Didn't notice how much I enjoy qbd so I may do more kills

Runite ore is bigger luck than the frame piece :P. Should be able to get 4 kills in 2 ovl doses pretty easily.

100% Drops:

8 D Bones = 22,792

5 - 7 Royal D'hides = 27,550 - 38,570 (Average 6 - 33,060)

70 - 100 Royal bolts = 6,580 - 9,400 (Average 85 - 7,990)

Average 100% profit per kill: 63,842 (With Drygores, and based on personal experience, you can assumne 20 kph with banking times included. This alone puts it at 1.2m/h)

Semi 100% Drops:

1 - 10 Rocktail = Won't value these in, since most people would use these for the QBD herself.

1 - 10 Saradomin Brew = 199 - 1,990 (Average 5 - 995)

1 - 10 Super Restore = 1,097 - 10,970 (Average 5 - 5485)

Average semi 100% profit per kill: 6,480

Non-unique drops:

[Assuming near identical drop rate for most non-unique drops, for argument's sake]

500 Death Runes: 46,500

500 Blood Runes: 86,500

30 Runite Ores: 322,230

50 Adamantite + 300 Coal: 184,450 (Albeit separated on the wiki's drop listing, they are dropped in tandem)

5 Uncut Dstones: 74,700

300 Yew Logs: 145,500

120 Magic Logs: 174,960

5 Snapdragon Seeds: 20,310

1 Torstol Seed: 92,699

1 Magic Seed: 188,992

50 Grimy Lantadyme: 385,750 [best value: 'Uncommon' drop]

10 Grimy Torstol: 165,730

Coins: 9,015 / 11,704 / 12,163 / 13,606 / 100,000 / 150,000 / 200,000 (Average - 70,927)

30 Onyx Bolt Tips: 250,950

Average common drop's worth per kill: 157,871

Value items:

Dragon Kiteshield: Assumed 1/192 - Average 5,149 / kill (D Kite's market price is roughly mid)

Visage: Assumed 1/93 - Average 13,605 / kill

Dragonbone Kit: Assumed 1 / 104 - Average 2,212 / kill (Dbone Kit's market price is roughly mid, just a bit under)

Royal Sight, Frame, Torsion Spring & Bolt Stabiliser: Assumed 1 / 10 for any of the pieces - Average 10,000 / kill (Apparently all of them go for ~ 100k, maybe a bit more.)

Average value kill's worth: 30,966

Priceless stuff you never see anymore:

Effigy - Estimate N/A (Assumably, QBD is a decent Effigy source, provided her combat level. I think I saw Mod Edam around a Barrows' thread and commenting on QBD's falling prices, stating that she's still steady profit and a good effigy dropper. Maybe.)

----------

Verdict

Cumulative total: 259,159 Average profit per kill + Effigies

Cumulative total without rare / value drops / no luck whatsoever: 228,193 Average profit per kill + Effigies

----------

While you can argue that these values are off because I assumed near-identical drop rate for the non-rare drops, you'll find that the best drops (Grimy Lantadyme, Runite Ores) aren't Rare, as per the wiki's classification, so you can balance it out a tad more. Some experience at the QBD will also tell you that it's not unusual to get those drops back to back, for instance, whereas you'll have a hard time getting a Torstol seed twice in 10 kills.

Good / bad news, though. QBD is going to become a Black Dragon Slayer target. Read that somewhere, maybe even around these very forums. Can't remember, though, so for now, don't quote me on it.

are there any really good guider for QBD, I have never been there and it seems complicated with the 4 stages?

Bring void/Bandos/Torva/Tetsu, drygore rapier + eee/drygore offhand, max melee crit etc.

Ovl, renewal, superanti, adrenaline pot. Pray turm + ss.

Use your tresholds (destroy and assault) when the QBD has enough health left to take 3+ of the hits, or it's a waste.

Don't bother with any of the specials. Eat up for 4 souls and super fire. Flurry the souls for some extra health.

Click each artefact when it activates, asap. Repeat 4x per kill.

Kiln is pretty good for cash too, 1 onyx every hour (can squeeze that down to 45-50 mins), give or take. You don't really need expensive gear for it either, since the best armor is available for free, and a single set last for a LONG time (20+ kilns at least, and that is a low estimate, more like 25 usually). The time I got was using Royal Crossbow and Chaotic Claw as my most expensive weapons.

The monotony of the kiln might put people off though (because every kiln is more identical to each other than QBD)

Just want to say i've never killed QBD before, and this was the only info I had about how to fight it. It was very easy, i'd recommend it :) Thanks Quy!

I didn't activate the artefacts fast enough though, and it filled up with grotworms. When her health bar hits 0, run to them quick.

EDIT: also, I had torment on the whole time, instead of turmoil, lol

The best armor for it, Obsidian Armor, is free except time element involved but the time required to get it (especially compared to number of kilns it lasts for) is, in my opinion, better than any other armor option for the purpose of Kiln.

The supplies used there are extremely minimal, healing or even BoB farmiliars are not necessary, Regenerate and the Crystals are more than sufficient to you keep you alive (even Guthix's blessing is very seldomly used). It is possible get by the kiln with a few sharks and 1 single prayer potion.
