I didn't die, had a teleport tab luckily, I'm just slightly upset that people even do this. This is seriously a dick thing to do.

Generally not when people are going to CT for slayer tasks.

 

Personally if you see a vex, that's as clear an indication as any that someone is there. No different than any other crappy abyss/ct pker.

Sometimes it is convenient to go to a certain hole in the wilderness because that slayer monster is closer. Even if that shortcut is there, it's a really underhanded trick. It's like bringing a knife to a fist fight. But I expect this sort of thing whenever I jump the wall.

PKers in RuneScape have been underhanded since pvp first entered the game. For every player who fights with that unwritten and ever changing rule of "honor," there are plenty more willing to fight dirty.

This is the Wilderness, and IMO you should be able to use every trick in your book to overcome your opponent.

The Wilderness is an area where everyone's on their own fighting for survival. Hunt or get hunted, doesn't matter if you use "dirty underhanded tricks" because your goal is to survive. (As long as you aren't blatantly cheating, of course — this is still a game.)

 

Furthermore, clan vexillums do not show up as a yellow dot on the minimap. This means any player who is hiding underneath one will show up as a white dot on the minimap.

This is just like hiding with a Ring of Stone or with a Marker plant. You attempt to hide in order to ambush unsuspecting players who may happen to pass by, but you can still be easily detected if said player is looking at their minimap; They'll see a white dot.

But the thing is nobody going to the chaos tunnels is going there to fight other players so this code of honor nonsense doesn't really apply in this situation. It's just one guy, or group of people, being an annoying douche. If you want to pvp find someone else with the same intention otherwise this is just as bad as luring people into the wild...

Well the code of honor thing didn't apply regardless because it's the wilderness so it's good we agree on that.

 

You enter the wilderness at a risk for shaving a minute or two off your travel time via a safe route. At any time, you should expect to be attacked. This is why you brought a teletab in the first place, right? Right.

While I still do not like I can't get mad. It's the wilderness. They have every right to do this, even thou this make them look really bad imo. Just tele tab or buy spin for a mask of stone/dusk. Or take the long way around. Or if you good at pvp...

Twenty people wearing absolutely no armor being attacked by some 12 year old who just wants to get his jollies making the game suck for other people.

I can honestly say I've NEVER lost a nickel in babyland. Only time I lost anything to a pker was when there were pkiling worlds and I made the mistake of using a glory amulet to tele to Edgeville. Some little kid barraged me the minute I appeared, I lost my rune pickaxe because I had forgotten I still had it on me.

I do regularly get killed doing penguins, which is pretty annoying. Beyond that I stay out of the wilderness. If it's a school night and I have good reason to I venture in (clue scroll usually). School nights typically the wilderness is less active.

Maybe you need to school yourself on EOC.

One, never put yourself into multiway mode.

Two, wear an anti-fire shield and you have access to a move that eats 100% of an attack with no damage.

Three, you have a move which makes you immune to stuns.

Four, you have a move that removes stuns and provides invulnerability for a short period after.

Five & Six, you still have all your protection prayers and food.

So, I'm just not seeing how somebody that knows what they are doing can be pked going to the chaos tunnels.

Hell, I've only seen clowns even try pking there on the 2400 total level world and you have to know what a joke that world is with all the elistest tards, youtuble allstars, and high level cry babies.

Hopped to every world, checked rift, green dragons & forinthry dungeon nobody to be found.
