sk8ermaster Posted March 2, 2006 Share Posted March 2, 2006 i hate how people go off telling you to get a life,get some friends, etc.etc. its always because of my level to ffs :( funny how alot/most train to become high level, strong and all that crud but then when you reach it you get crp for it, im also disgusted when someone tells me im a "poser" "wanna be skater,etc" "i dont skate?" they talk to me as if they know me irl. I have been a sponsered skater for 5 years and counting now, any time my friends are going out or invite me, im out of the house.. any time my gf's at the window, door,calls me up im definetly gone. i cant believe some people have the nerve to tell me i dont have social life because i have some levels on a game they are on themselves, i only play rs to relax and have some fun, just as anyone plays ps2, gamecube,xbox etc etc etc. im now finishing up my sophmore year in highschool, 16 years old, only thing im on runescape for anymore is raiseing any combat related skill and pking/stakeing. no use in skills anymore..i still find how people get ranked one, or front page etc for fame..come to think of it...it is pretty lame but i wont judge. mhmm Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So ppl take the minority and use it against the majority. I take offence to that... im 15 years old I only have 3 main friends and i have never had a girldfriend.. but does that make me a bad person? I play rs about 3-5 hours a day after school and about 8 hours a day on the weekend.. oh and over the summer i played about 15 hours a day... Your only 15. Some advice from someone who has been playing this game all throughout high school. Stop playing for a couple years, dont let runescape take your life over. I used to play everyday, 5 hours a day minimum when I was about 14. I became a loser. I did this for about a year until I started hanging out. Runescape isnt even close to "fun". Go chill with some buddies, get to know people, and play runescape CASUALLY. It isnt worth wasting your high school years on a game. I had the best time in high school and I highly recommend you try to have a good time cause when you get outta school your regret every single moment you werent with your friends. By the way, im 18 now. Just stop playing so much forgot to state that i started 3 months before santa hats came out in classic... ermm i do hang out at school... at this very moment i am planning to stay a few days with one of my good friends... and their arnt very good people at my school to hang out with... must are either [bleep] or pot heads.... RS ftw :) You poor, poor person..what are you like 8?.. :notalk: Well, during the summer all my friends are on vacation or at there family's houses so I find it hard to socialize in real life over the summer, that's just me. But what i hate is how they have no idea who i am, and they start judging me. There's nothing to prove to this loser saying you have no social life, but making up excuses as to why you have one (truth or otherwise) just makes you look like you have something to hide, like you're insecure about the subject. As I said before, use a joke, or the classic "Lol" to break the tension, 'cause going on about why you do have a social life is just feeding the fire. It could be true I get close to 60 hours a week on work alone, ( I work from 6 to 6). If he was full time he could do collage for like 4 hours in the morning and than work from lunch time to 9 o'clock. Don't flame because it could be possiable. For example, I normally play a few hours in the morning, chill for a bit in the afternoon, til around 3. It's not the most important thing in my life but it still means something. It is a good game and at least it's cheap. A person who tells you to get a social life proberly doesn't know what he's talking about. I play runescape for a maximum of four hours a day. I mountain bike, I snowboard, I have the fun of my life.
