Nadril
I don't "mind" the foam, but I never realy drink coke in a glass anyways. The only reason I think it's good to drink it in a glass is so you can add ice to keep it colder for longer. Though if you leave it too long it will get watery... It's a fine balance! Yeah, for some reason I've never realy liked the taste of coke if I pour it in my own glass. But if I get it at a resteraunt of something, taste's just fine in one. . I usualy will finish it as well before it gets warm ^^.
VOV
I used to love coke when I was younger, I always thought pepsi was far too sweet. Can't stand any type of soda now. I know the price. I pay it gladly.
knives669
I like both of them. Coke makes your eyes water when you drink it, Pepsi just... tastes sweeter. ^_^ I mainly like Coke, but Pepsi is ok as well.
BigChad
However, Coke still fizzes a fair amount even when it is cold. Ahh, only if you don't pour it right. I am a seasoned coke drinker, and this is my method: Use a pint glass, also the coke must be canned and very cold. Open the can then pour the coke down the inside of the glass, with the glass tilted at 45 degrees. This minimizes foaming from splashing. Add at least 4 ice cubes by PUTTING them in, put the tip of one in the coke then let it drop in slowly, this also prevents it foaming. To me, there's nothing more refreshing. Minus the ice cubes thats about the way you pour a nice beer ;) anyway I'm a soda addict and love all kinds of soda, insup the vanilla kind that tastes like warm piss, but Im not drinking anymore soda because of athletic training. I still like to enjoy a cold beer, seeing as its better for you than soda and in moderation has been proven to reduce the risk of heart disease. Mr_Putter
For all those saying one is sweeter than the other, etc. etc...Pepsi has 1 gram more sugar per 355mL can that Coke...I believe the numbers are 42g per Pepsi, 41g per Coke...And when you actually think about it its pretty disgusting...I read a lot of ingredients... I personally feel that Coke has a more fizzy, burny feeling, and the taste is fine, but as said, it really leaves a gross residue on your teeth and coats your mouth with grit... I prefer Pepsi, it goes down smooth, and is 1g sweeter! On a side note...I went to Subway once and my mom ordered a chocolate milk, and I ordered a Pepsi...Per cup the chocolate milk had more fat (obviously...) and even more sugar than Pepsi...Don't drink Subway chocolate milk. Boogie
I feel compelled to add that the same gritty feeling, which I also despise, is not present if you drink it cold enough. Yeah, when it's cold you don't get that feeling. I prefer Pepsi though.
DragonFirenze
Im a pepsi max guy. Not because of the zero sugar but i really like the taste. trapical
Yes there is a difference between Pepsi and Coke, its actually quite distinct if you have 1 in each hand. I prefer Coke to Pepsi in every category except cherry, Wild Cherry Pepsi is amazing. As for EVERYONE suddenly hating soda and drinking water , way to be a sheep and follow the masses. Ever since I was three I drank juice for breakfast, soda with sandwitches or at parties, and water for everything else. I was amazed at people drinking 4 cans of soda a day, everyday. I mean drinking mountain dew at 7am on an empty stomach? Disgusting. At school lunches in elementary school people would always ask me why I didn't have a soda in my sack lunch :?. Enter 2004, bottled water sells like hot cakes as soda sales plunge in the States. Half the people I know drink only bottled water. Thats like 4 bucks a day for your entire life paying for the most abundant substance on the planet. Who's paying the big corperations now? Now at lunch when I occasionally grab a soda my entire lunch table looks at me like I just killed a puppy "You bought SODA!??! Do you have any idea how bad that is for you?!" Also funny fact, studies show those who drank a normal soda with their meal gained less weight then those who drank water or a diet soda. Reason: soda has sugar wich lowers your apetitie, therefore you eat less after drinking half a can, whereas diet soda does nothing to you and you keep eating. ^_^ And how can anyone give up soda? Coke with ice in a glass after mowing the grass when its 95 degrees is quite possibly the best thing in the world.

Last year there was a trend to bring Nalgene water bottles to school and drink out of them all the time. I thought it was funny because Nalgene's don't really keep your water cold like other bottles do so people sacrificed quality for trendiness. Silly kids. :P

apinagez
Nadril, is your stomach still there? Back on topic: In my opinion, Pepsi is much better than coke. I could drink a whole Pepsi can at once and feel good, but if I drank 1/4 Coke can, my eyes, teeth, throat and stomach would feel it for some time. Pepsi is smoother than Coke, that's all. ^The most disturbing signature on Tip.it^Last.fm|HELLY KAYLA!|Oh the mehagurtz!|#Siencemakers"they care less about their spelling mistakes then I." - Lionheart"apinagez... let me

DaN
does chocolate taste diffrent from raw fish? The people in you class must be dumb Pepsi is sweeter than coke but coke is (as someone mentioned) harder. Coke outsells pepsi by about 6to1 in australia. ~Dan64AuSince 27 Aug 2002
Guest
Yeah Coke taste different to Pepsi. Coke has more of a "hit" in it for me if that makes any sense. I drink lots of coke and I don't really like Pepsi that much at all. If I go into a KFC I always order some other type of drink rather than a Pepsi. My Sister tested me on this a while back to see if its actually the taste of Pepsi I don't like and not just that they are in opposition to Coke. And I determined easily the difference between the taste of Coke and Pepsi. The worst is the difference between Coke and HomeBrand Cola. There's a distinct difference in those two drinks and I can't stand Cola as a drink.
