Someone mentioned that with the new bank in lumby and access to the "Lost Tribes" ore, that it's very quick to mine iron and silver there. I was thinking myself that it could be the closest spinning wheel to a bank aswell, just up two stairs and there you are. unfortunately I have no more large quantities of flax to test my theory :( Haven't played RuneScape since 12 january 2007 and it feels great :)
March 19, 200620 yr You don't need flax to test your theory, you can time yourself walking from the bank to the wheel in both places. I just looked at the mine, and it looks like the closest large amount of silver rocks to a bank, but the iron at Yanille is still faster. However, the Yanille iron rocks are often taken, so you can use these if you're tired of people. Edit: I was curious, so I checked the spinning wheel, and the wheel in Seer's is still faster to reach. Walking from Lumby chest to that wheel was 29 seconds, from Seer's bank to Seer's wheel was 24.

There is another range with a bank closer, but the lumbridge range is better and worth it for high lvl food you don't want to burn. But the mine being close is good, too, I hadn't noticed that, I'll have to check it out some time. Seems to be a lot faster, or at least seems to without all the trees to travel around. March 21, 200620 yr Yes, there's been a bank in lumbridge since the release of the new quest. It's located in the basement (go to the kitchen and go down the ladder) its located on the east wall. It's a single click bank just like the castlewars bank.

March 21, 200620 yr Thats REALLY cool. I used to go down to that mine all the time to powermine, but would always sell the iron/silver to the goblin dude, because of the hike. Awesome, thanks for the tip. Raichase, quit Runescape. Time issues really, nothing against the game itself. Something had to go, and it happened to be the addictive game that costs money to enjoy :) Best of luck to all of my friends here!

March 21, 200620 yr Hmm probably is now the quickest place to get to from a bank.... But Edgeville mine (2 iron rocks) is pretty close to Edge bank and you can glory tele on the way back....however a lot of pkers there because of the abyss.

March 21, 200620 yr This new bank spot is very useful for several reasons. One is the close Iron/Silver spots, which are good for smithers/crafters. The chest is also the closest bank to a water source now as well, so us herblorists out there are glad to see we can quickly fill up all our empty vials :D Also on the herblore aspect, when I do herb runs in the agility dungeon by Yanille, I like to bring 4 cups of hot water to make Guthix Rest (good way to get easy herblore experience with herbs people usually throw away). The cook's kitchen in Lumbridge has a range and a water source very close to each other (no where else in game has these two so close together). And now there is a bank very close as well, it'll be much easier to make the hot water I need for my tea. Yay!

March 21, 200620 yr It means the range burns less food. Also sorry to burst your bubble but the mines were already discovered. I've been using them for power mining, but now alot of people will come. lol it is ok. Time to talk to any hyt that pm me with that now. (If you dont believe me that I found it first, ask bloodveld, I took him down there when it came out.) A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind.
