April 1, 200620 yr I think there should be capes available to show how long you're been playing; sort of like bragging rights. They could be as follows: Beta Cape - Recieved if your character participated in the RuneScape 2 Beta. (Cape with RS B on the back?) Old-School Cape - Recieved if your character played at least 6 months RS-C. (RSC) Cape of Ancients - Recieved if your character was played in the first six months of RuneScape's creation. (RSA) 2-Year Cape - Recieved if you have been playing two or more years. (2) 4-Year Cape - Recieved if you have been playing four or more years.(4) (Continues 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 50 if RuneScape goes that long) These capes, of course, don't disappear if you get a new one. There would be an NPC you can talk to, who gives you your capes and also holds them for you. You could have all sorts of special capes, like a cape you get when you reach a certain QP, for example. Yes? No?
April 2, 200620 yr Nah, we've got holiday items for that. Bunny ears, scythes, chickens, scarfs and toques. No need to make a whole set load of capes to do the same thing. April 2, 200620 yr Author I missed party hats, masks, santas, pumpkins, easter eggs, [Caution: Jagex Rule Violation]s, and bunny ears. I was around back then, buuut my dad wouldn't let me participate. And as a result, on my level 79 account, no one belives I played classic. Because, of course, as a level 98, they'd know that no level 79 ever played classic. I want these capes to counter that kind of situation.
April 2, 200620 yr I LOVE this idea lol. Personally I got screwed over on holiday drops. Came like 2 months after bunny ears. Never found a [Caution: Jagex Rule Violation] when they were out. Decided not to waste my time finding the bunny on easter. I quit my original account in the RSC -> RS2 Transfer and only started this one (Saidinwot) in December 2004, so it would not make any more people believe I had been around in RSC, in fact it would make less people believe it since I wouldn't have any of the capes (until December at which point I would have a 2 year cape). April 2, 200620 yr I kinda agree with this, i like the idea that they need for items for the elite, theres not much in this game to show how long youve been around, i like the fire cape, and new gaunts, cw armour. They need more items to that prove something.

For future reference, don't bring up old threads unless you have something substantial to add to them. To contribute to the thread, I don't like the idea, however, if stats, etc. were included, I could change my mind.
