after some weeks of slumbering in f2p worlds i asked my father (always pick up the one who is easy with money) if i could be member. My father told me that i first must getting a job and then i could be member for anything! (like WoW etc.)

 

 

 

 

 

Now finnaly i've got a job!

i am becomeing a member in a while but all i had to do is get my mom to get me a bank account so i could get a paypal account because noone will use thier credit cards

Well... it costs an extra 3 dollars using paypal compared to the credit card and if you use any other option you would have to pay more then $5. I would advise you to use credit card unless you dont mind paying extra.

 

 

 

Iantiger: It shows that your dad is protective of you being on the net :) so if you do something bad then BAM you're in trouble :P

most kids have the money for it but not the permission, get a simon mall card http://www.simon.com/giftcard/, thats how i got it and my parents dont know :lol:

if i wanted to be a member i would do this:

 

1. transfer money from my bank account to my paypal account

 

2. pay with my paypal account

 

3. become a member

My parents just came back from holiday (in a good mood) and i said it'd be good value, seeing the amount your getting for your cash.

 

 

 

After two months i stopped paying for membership for the comupter is shared between teh fmaily and my sister need to revise for A.Ss so i thought not going pay if i'm hardly gonna be on the computer. Havent bothered since, and dont really want/need to renew my membership.

I just use my own money... I have a credit card, but it has a $20/mo maximum use limit, so If someone wants to take the number and do something they won't get too far. 8)

But when my mom saw that i transferd some money to my e-gold account she asked what did i do.

 

So i sayd : Im becoming a member in RS

 

She said: Oh, ok

I just asked my mother (nicest person in the house ) : Mom Can i be an member of RuneScape?

 

mother: Yes son, u can.

 

 

 

And tada, i'm a member. :lol:

i use my Credit Card to get members, i never have to Wait for... but you got to remember to pay it Every month because the average Credit Card Debt for an american is $9,000.00 (no joke)

Me: A game.

 

Mom: You're on the computer too much as it is.

She signed me up for 12 months. 8)

Me: "Hey bro, can you get me membership for this game?"

So I'm at home all day... I spend most of my time on the 'puter, playing runescape, and doing some school. I guess my parents think I'm doing school though =\

 

 

 

So I'm sitting on 'puter...

 

Mom: Son, you've been on too much today

 

Me: Oh, ok I'll try and finish school up soon

 

Mom: oh, if your doing school, then finish it then get off

 

Me: ok

 

 

 

This is mom if she finds out I'm playing game:

 

Mom: SON!!! Get of the &%#$ computer right now! You know better than to waste your time like that!

 

 

 

So, I realise it wouldn't be a great idea to ask for runescape membership =\

 

 

 

So, I just send in 20 bucks to the virginia, usa pay by mail place every three months. Me a member, parents none the wiser.

I just payed by cash and I told my sisters that some nice samaritan on RuneScape payed for my members -- and they believed me! But now my membership is up... and I don't think my sisters are stupid enough to buy that another person on the net bought me members... or are they? :wink:

But, who said they have to know?? I did make up a story like that to tell my real life friends playing runescape, just incase it got out to my parents that I had payed. (see post above yours Apteryx)

I'm proud in saying that when I was a member I always paid myself :) But had it come to asking my parents (ha!) I would have simply asked in return for jobs/chores or me actually giving them the $5/ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã3.20 every month.

 

 

 

Now I think about it, even though my family is poor, I can't see my mum or dad taking that pitiful amount off me every month. They would have prefered me working for it to learn a valuable lesson...that is, of course, all hypothetical, seeing as my parents and I show equal resentment to each other and are never in touch.

i mailed paybycash 20$ and it takes about 3 days just go to the runescape website then click on paybycash icon.

Last I had a membership, I went to the post office, saying that I had to send out thank you cards to all the sponsors for my robotics team. I was passing for my weekly trip to this math thing I go to... (I have an A in math at school, so i'm not stupid, lol... it's just "extra work" so i can test out of Algebra II and head to pre calc as a sophmore...) It worked for one month and i'm planning another trip there to send out more "thank you" cards since the robotics season is almost over...
