Its almost time for prom at my school, and I got a date just in time. :lol: Barely had enough to get fitted for a tux.

 

 

 

I told my sister that I wouldn't go to prom unless I was able to go with one of the coolest girls in school. Kinda being sarcastic, but then she set us up so it was a shock.

 

 

 

I have never been to our school's prom before so I'm pretty excited. Anyone here going to their school's prom? Discuss!

I got a dozen girls I would ask... maybe 2 would say yes :P... but a dozen I would ask XD.

Ah, prom. I asked my best friend and we had an awesome time. The afterparty was casino-style and it was great.

 

 

 

One of my friends wore a kilt and a tux jacket.

Gimme 2-3 years. Since I think we have Junior and Senior Proms...

My year's prom at school was in 2002. I went with a few mates. It was alright, nothing too special. People kept asking me to go get them drinks because I was one of only a few who were 18 at the time. It was also funny to see the staff getting drunk :wink:

Ehh I didn't want to go , but I payed for it anyway. Going to either rent or buy a tux. Are you supposed to have a date?

My prom is at the beginning of next month. I have my pretty red dress, my date, and everything. :D

Had my date months in advance (my best friend). Once the dancing started, I never got off the floor except for once or twice :oops:

 

 

 

At my school, prom is worth it whether you have a date or not :D (Especially the schools afterprom)

I loved prom. I wasn't going to go, but my friend asked me. Just get a group of friends and go together -- I must have went out to dinner with a group of 20. And don't worry: NO ONE AT A HIGH SCHOOL PROM CAN DANCE.

I loved dressing up.

Ya, I had my prom last year it was exceptionally fun. There was the dressing up, going to the fancy dinner, then dancing the night away. After that they took us back to the school which they decorated with a western theme and there were blow up obstacle courses and a mechanical bull and tons of food. The finale: a hypnotist. I went up as part of the group but was never actually hypnotized so I had to go back into the audience. It all ended at 6 am and I was up by 10 getting ready to go to my friends birthday for some drinks and more fun.

However, we have this thing called "THE Rugby Dinner" which involves curry, lager, funnelling, challenges and a hell of a lotta fun! :D

I loved it at our prom when they played real dance music that you could dance to with your partner. Usually its either techno garbage that people just stand around for (while a moron starts break dancing) or some slow country song that people just sway to.

Ours was a ceilidh. More taditional type music which you could dance to.
