April 17, 200620 yr Warning This Is Sorta Long This is the story of me buddybear200, and my journey through Runescape alone. It all started in June of 2003. Some of my rl friends told me about this cool new game they were playing. Needless to say I was completely hooked. It was great fun exploring the world and slaying monsters with my pals. But one by one they began to quit until I was left alone. :cry: I continued to play and made until I eventually made two new friends. They were great buddies and we enjoyed lots of stuff together. My first (and only) dragon drop. The feeling of pride when we all bought our first party hats. And the countless lvls we gained together. But then one day one of them unexpectedly quit. And I never heard from him again. My other friend and I began to speak less and less until we had pretty much grown apart completely. During this time I decided to quit and to give all my stuff away. Since I only had 1 friend I was just planning on giving it all to him. But by this time he had already forgotten me completely because he wouldnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t even answer any of my pmÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s. This left me no choice but to give my entire bank out to complete strangers through a drop party. And to delete my last friend from my list. :cry: Nearly 4 months later I decided to rejoin the world or Runescape, and begin playing again. I was again alone, but decided I would work on my skills and the friends would come in time. Well I was wrong because this was last November and can you guess how many friends I have now? ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ0... I joined this board a couple months ago, and enjoy it very much even though I donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t post much I come on nearly everyday. Currently IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m combat lvl 101 with a skill total of 1523 who has never been able to enjoy so many of the aspects of the game. IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve never been able to go to any of the team oriented monster of the game such as the KQ or KBD. Go fishing on the trawler. Go pk with a team of friends. Or even get a congratulatory pat on the back for getting a lvl. IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m not a unpleasant person to talk to or do things with. IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m just a lonely guy going through the lonely world of Runescape. Even now as I close in on another fishing lvl in the guild there will be no bragging and gloating to friends. April 17, 200620 yr Feel free to add me :) . I'm in a very similar boat. I had some great friends pre, and a bit into, RS2, until they quit. We all played RSC, but with no friends left on RSC I decided to move onto RS2, and haven't made a *good* friend yet. I've made some good friends, but we don't seem to click as much as I used to be able to do with my old friends. RS2 FTL. Btw my RSN is "I_Am_Level31" even though I'm pure. My main was banned but that's a story for another time. A little background information: I'm a 16 year old boy, and I've been playing RS a little more than 3 years I think, off and on. In addition, you should play on the HYT server (Hey You Tip.Iter!) which is World 7 for freebies and World 9 for Members. You will fairly often run into someone from these boards! And if you want, add Barihawk to your friend's list (PM me on these boards with your RSN...I won't have private on public until the drop party crowd dies down :P) EDIT: I should mention that I was also a loner for a few months. I met one of my best RS friends Shiva thanks to the first ever TET event. After that, it was all uphill! You should try it! My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. LOL, I have a friends list of about 200 people now, I dont see half of them. Id trade it for one or two good friends. But dude, ITS A GAME! I think most of us have had friends leave or, just stop coming on for one reason or anotehr. So most of us can understand what its like. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

April 18, 200620 yr Wow! this story is so similar of my time playing runescape, however i have been lucky enough to have a brother that can do some of the things with me, but yes i sarted late 2002 and had about 5 friends playing and one by one they left, i then made a few new ones and then they left. Gut i am too stingey too give anything away not even to my brother :wink: !
April 18, 200620 yr U make friends along the way.... via kq.. abby.. etc.. i met mine best pal when he juz made a new account as his main was hacked.. now he has a total level of 1600.. though we never met in rl.. as he is like half a world away from where i am.. its just friendship based in rs.. nowadays i am rs-ing lesser and lesser... due to work & academic commitment.. cheer up dude.. someday somehow u will meet a great pal..
