So is the forcast for the land of Runescape always sunny with a 0% chance of parcipitation in the next 100 years?

My guess is that the world of Runescape is located on a flat area where the sun never sets.

Good day sir, how may I help you?

Id like to access my bank account please.

Certainly sir.

A random weather system would be a nice implementation. Imagine pking in torrential rain, so bad you can hardly see the screen; little splashes of water randomly hitting the camera, impeding your view, and perhaps the odd thunder bolt and flash of lightning. The following day, you're fishing in the beautiful bright sunlight on the shores of Karamja, soaking in the rays. The light is so bright that it glints off the surface of the sea, as the waves ripple up and down, and fish happily dance in the water.

To start things off, there should be time and seasons. Or atleast day/night differences! The time could coorispond to the current world location

weather and season implements would be a great little additon to the game, but a night/day system would never work since players from all around the world play at the same time at any given moment.

There should be some disadvanges and advanges in weather. Say it's a widy day, your arrows have like a 20% less chance to hit (damage) the enemy.

If it's rainy you have a less chance to get fish.

I think weather implemented in the game would be great.

We do already have snow on the ground in some areas and in one area in members it is snowing and you can ride a sled down the slope even. However, the place isn't that convenient or easy to get to so it's not that fun.

It would be nice to have seasons and I would love to see it go from daylight to dark. Some other games have this and it makes it more interesting in my opinion.

Of course I would want an umbrella so I won't get wet if they do this :P

If you want sunsets, Runescape would have to be a spherical world. That means, that if you go north from Etceteria you should arrive near the Mage Arena, and that across the sea east of Port Phasmatys you could reach the lands west of Tyrannwyn. Until that happens, don't hope for day/night changes.

Weather, however seems a nice idea.

(I'm using America in this example but i'm not from America)

That's like saying if you go north from Seatle you'll end up near New York!

I't possible that rune scape is a sphereical world but at the moment the area we have is too small to see the effects of the "curve"!
