They will make pure yew's or something, and then all the autoer's will find something new to make money off of.

yeah what then... pure coal?!!?

evry time i see a lvl 3 cutting yews just makes me mad

I reported over 20 tonight.

We may not be able to stop the autoing, but we can get jagex' attention with every one of our reports.

Our efforts will not be in vain, if we don't give up on reporting them.

We can't let the gold farmers ruin the game that we have spent so much time playing and being entertained over the years.

We can't stand by and watch RS fall victim to macroers, like so many other games.

Scapers unite!!!

Reporting them like this will do no good as there is a seperate macro detection system, you're just wasting your own time.

Also why post pictures and make a whole new thread about it, trying to look the hero? its not working.

Frizoid, you've been proven wrong by other p mods in previous threads.

Reporting macros DOES make a difference, and it is helping jagex stop the autoers. They don't always ban them immediately. They do it all in one sweep, like the massive banning they've done before.

I don't see why you continue to spread these rumors, unless you have a reason to do so. You won't stop me from reporting autoers.

lol one of the biggest pvp updates of the year, and tip it is discussing granite

I'm going to help as well I've decided. I've also decided that jagex should introduce enough mods so that there are 5 per world checking yews for lvl 3's/4's/5's

TifSig.jpg

I didn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t realise there was so many autoers at the yews. It̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s almost sickening. Jagex need to come up with another solution to sort this, the autoers must be raking in millions a day, which as they said is probably just sold on ebay.

:?

Unfortunately they can make more accounts faster than you can report them, and even faster than jagex gets around to banning them. It's a nice effort and all, it just seems unneccessary for you to do this timewise. Nice to see someone taking a stand though.

You must remember to cut yew trees you must be 60 wcing, which takes alittle time to get would still be a little effort dont you think?

They are not rumours, i know many jagex personally, I even got a global mod of these forums in touch with one and they can confirm what I am saying is true.

New sigzor^^

I suppose this may not be the best metaphor I can give, but think of it this way.

You're a 4-year old who is a bit clumsy, and can't use a fly swatter, but there are flies all over the porch.

Now, you do have the ability to tell your mom to swat a fly, and point to her where the fly is, but there are so many flies that your mom could pretty much take a swing in any general direction and get them.

So, while you have the ability to go "mommy there's a fly over here", your mom already knows that the flies are there. Your mom could go kill ten of them in one swoop rather than picking them off one by one as you request.

Maybe not the most appropriate metaphor, but when there is a large problem such as this, rest assured, Jagex already knows.

The best thing you can do is not to flood customer support with 10 people reporting the same person over and over.

so there's this thread in p2p general called "the most annoying things ppl do on runescape" i am tempted to post "ya wen im cybering with a girl and they log off for no reason"

Ip bans do not work, most computers have a dynamic ip, I can change mine whenever I want, also if you played at say a school and someone broke a rule every single person in that school would be unable to play.

"whe" can't get rid of the autoers, jagex can, but by these report parades you are doing nothing but slowing them down. I'm sure they are working on a solution, you just have to be patient and stop spamming them with reports.

reportbuttanerfb6.gif

t0 bad for u im not going to wait till jagex comes with an solution, i just wanna cut yews , im not going to wait till jagex comes

t0 bad for u im not going to wait till jagex comes with an solution, i just wanna cut yews , im not going to wait till jagex comes

You do realise that makes no sense at all? No autoers will be banned unless jagex "comes" and bans them or comes up with a way to stop the autoing programs working, you think you reporting them makes them magically dissapear instantaneously?

Have fun woodcutting with the autoers.

reportbuttanerfb6.gif

Frizoid is correct. Reporting abuse is most effective when Jagex does not know the abuse is going on- that's what the tool is for.

But when any staff member can log into any world and see 30 autoers, filling up their queue of things to read with numerous reports of the same people is not effective.

The reporting parties are rather counterproductive in that manner.
