211cole
I think autoers are a great source of entertainment for long time skilling. Like i am air running on my pure ( 60k an hour ) and have to pass by a yew every time. There are about 20 autoers there, and I'll say stuff like "Every bald person here say ABCD and you get 1 mill!!!!!". Really fun to say stuff to them =P. Also, everytime I walk by the yew I just pick one autoer randomly and report him I get 30$ a day working at a haunted corn ma(i)ze, dressing up and scaring people crapless. paulyts50
quote stratotankerOmg, send a message to JaGeX to monitor that player's IP address...or MAC address, if they can. If they find the slightest inkling of that person hacking, they need to send down the hammer, and cut that person off. Permanently. Those kind of people are just losers, and need to be cast out using a catapult and beaten with a reaaaaally long stick. Also, many people who beg, also scam, hack, bot, etc. Just because they are a lvl 15 doesn't mean they aren't rich. Don't give the noobs money if they beg for it. Although, if you can get them to get you stuff, they deserve cash. Nonetheless, keep an eye out. They know his ip address....and both his chars are banned. On a lighter and on topic note, today the yews were almost clear of bots and not one new autoer walked by in draynor. When they asked us to help report, I guess they really weren't just appeasing us, because a lot of fcfc are banned and off highscores, so perm ban. So the last week was worth it. I am so pleased! stratotanker
quote stratotanker Erm...Try this.
Blah blah blah
It's cleaner that way. They know his ip address....and both his chars are banned. KUDOS! \ On a lighter and on topic note, today the yews were almost clear of bots and not one new autoer walked by in draynor. So the last week was worth it. I am so pleased! Hey, like I told you, there are a lot of them that have to be banned. Just because you don't get immeadiate action doesn't mean nothing is happening. Trust me, it's like 300 people versus hundreds of thousands, even millions of bots. Anyways, happy hunting! And, if you don't mind, pm me, paulyts50. I'm trying to set up a scam hunt day, and I'd like someone to host it. oops1644
Some ways to screw up autoers. Please note: some of these ideas are not practical to do in the long run but they all work! 1. Report them (duh) 2. Set a trail of items for them to a dangerous area (example: for WC autoers set a trail of yew/magic logs from the trees to any high level monsters nearby, the autoers will follow the items (picking them up along the way) to the monsters, get killed by the monsters, you pickup the items and repeat as many times as possible) 3. try and lead them into the wild and kill them 4. when an aggressive random appears (evil chicken and the like) use them as a flesh shield and range or mage the random. Feel free to add more ideas to deal wit autoers Never argue with an idiot - it only drags you down to there level, where he then beats you with experience.completed Underground Pass at level 52! Was wcing maples at the side of party room for a few days kept wondering about the high ammount of lvl 3's walking past the same route, so i followed one and reported the other 6 there at the time.(using the talking to and offering free stuff to them method) Then went varock yews (this is a p2p world remember): ryioy15,24 and 36 there lmao edit: ryioy15 just died!!, he got poisoned and i got free yew logs, and his bones mwuhahaha : Want to be my friend? stratotanker
What would those be from? China? Korea? I'd like to see that happen... But, I've said a few times, IP bans do not work. All they do is make someone use go-arounds. My MOD Queue and MODs - StarTrekGuide

I'm not that technical when it comes to the interweb, but surely if they really really wanted to couldn't they just force everyone to use the standard RS client thats available for download at there own site? mememe513
I hate how I can't report macroers in a small amount of time if there are say 7 macroers, I have to wait some 10 minutes because of my guessing time. You know what I think would really help? Putting more yews near high-leveled monsters. I know this would endanger skillers, but I've never seen a skiller at a yew (at least I don't think I have)
warren211
I have a lot of fun killing the autoers and sweatshop rc miners in aubury's shop. wanna do so as well? follow these steps! What you need: 2 options for this: a. runes for a non-damage spell (like curses, which need earths, waters, and bodies and the required mage level, which is fairly low.) b. rubber chicken, flowers, or mouse toy (these weps have a negative strength bonus/ you'll see why you need them in step 3) 1. Go to aubury's mage shop, see if there are miners ranging level 3-9. 2. Notice just a little south of the place is a mugger level 6. 3. Using the spell or weak weapon, atack the mugger. remember: TURN RETALIATE OFF. 4. Bring the mugger over toward the shop. let him attack you so he keeps moving to the shop, but DON'T FIGHT BACK. 5. tell other players NOT to kill mugger (tell them your killing autoers, if you need to.) 6. Step inside the shop and close the door. Move one step west in the shop. 7. You should now be one step west of the doorway inside the shop. the mugger, who is still attempting to attack you (but cant because of the wall), should be looking toward you, facing the wall, on the other side of the wall parallel to you [hopefully I'll get a pic of this in case no one understands] 8. The next time a low lvl autoer comes by, the mugger should look away from you and attack the autoer. if the player opens the door, slam it in his face. [question] 9. This is the climax. as stated in the above bracketed section, this is the point where you either get the rewards for the auto killer or have to start over. if the player is an honest person, he'll probably run. if he calls for help, you know its a good player and can lure the mugger away or let the player in the building. if he's an autoer, he'll most likely die unless he managed to kill the mugger. in which case you'll ahve to start over and hope hes still weak from the fight. if hes a sweatshop player, he'll either run (you'll have to start over again) or die. 10. AFTERMATH: if he dies, take the loot or leave it. congratz, you've messed up a runescape cheater! if he lives, start over. if he manages to teleport to rune mine, use the weak wep or spell to lure the mugger INSIDE the shop. close the door, and wait for the player to return. keep the door shut and let the mugger kill. 11. Don't forget to report! killing the playr is not enough justice. after all, he still may haver thousands of ess leftover ready to sell, even if you foiled his attempt at another inventory. Report the player. if there is a long list of players, write the list in a message to customer support titled "suspected breakers of rule 7 and/or 12" send it to jagex, and let them handle the rest. Note before you attempt this auto purge that you will get very little from the autoers deaths besides some ess, which is easily mined anyway. don't count on this as a method for free ess as it is not efficient.
