Bozebo
I just have to say, Java is object orientated, therefore macros do not move the mouse pointer and generate clicks, they immitate signals to the server. Therefore they are not i/o macros, but modified clients. (I don't run macros btw, dont assume that I have knowledge of this for any negative reason)

atronic92
Rc macro'ers: http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/6825 ... os2my6.png (RC "autoer" picture) I'm guessing that those aren't autoers because I saw that they didn't all have the same name when I saw your original thread. Those are probably some of the "Chinese Goldfarmers", sweatshop workers who gather gold all day for their managers to sell. The level 59 is probably so agressive monsters in the are don't attack them. "We will certainly not be gaining money or members with this update. Athfrox
For me, the presence of autoers often provides me with entertainment, such as 1.luring autoers to high level aggresive by leaving a trail of yews 2.picking up the rune axe heads that they leave behind Also some players are really stupid, for example, yesterday i was cutting willows in Draynor (i was the only one there, which i thought was wierd) I am lvl 56 cb and was wearing full rune with plate. After a few minutes of cutting willows by myself, a lvl 72 cb starts cutting willows with me, after a couple seconds he askes me if im autoing,at this moment i thought oh boy! my favorite thing to do! pretend to be an auto \ , so to convince him i was an auto i didnt reply to anything he said, or open the trade window when he tried to trade with me. Then he said if i dont talk hed report me, so i just didnt say anything then of course he said "reported" lol then i got a random, which is like the icing on the cake, it was rick turpintine and i just ignored him and continued cutting willows while the lvl 72 was saying "yeah you auto", "you gonna die noob" stuff like thatthen went to bank willows and got rid of rick, then went back and continued cutting. while he insisted on telling other people that were cutting that i was autoing. lol i pmed the peopl telling em how stupid that guy was lol i had alot of fun with that. Why would an auto be lvl 56 with full rune with PLATE, i dont think autos do quests :-k

Why would an auto be lvl 56 with full rune with PLATE, i dont think autos do quests :-k Well, you can't be bais. I've been acused of autoing (sure...level 3...) but I have Karajma gloves (requires killing level 53 jogre), an elemental shield (have to kill the earth elemental), full camo, mime gloves and boots, a blurite sword (The Knights Sword), a glory, spotted cape (40+ hunter), had a total level on the highscores (now 821) along with an array of skills on there aswell, and aparently that didn't even rule me out... I was buying unids (I have 53 herblore, yes, on the highscores) when I was called a "merchant macroer" ...In fact, I planned on leveling herblore...Some people... :XD: PS - Look at Reverze's post for reason to believe that macroers don't want to be detected... No combat is required for Runecrafting - so if they got 59, why wouldn't they do dragon slayer? It's a hell of a lot faster than leveling the exp it gives you manually ;) ~ Clicky for the blog of No Cb Skils ~
Utopianflame
Why would an auto be lvl 56 with full rune with PLATE, i dont think autos do quests :-k Oh they do quests, trust me on that, I've found a collection of 6 (bots/gold farmers) that work the neitiznot rune mine. They are level ~54 combat. They wear the same armor, and have 47 crafting, 85+ mining, 40 agility and 43 prayer. there are no stupid questions just way too many inquisitive idiots balance is scary to people who like things easy for them

Mooge
I definitely get sick of sweat shop workers filling all of the popular skilling spots, although I am grateful all the work Jagex is putting in to try to solve the problem. I can't, however, ever see this problem going away, there's far too much money to be made. I am a fan of the new update to rule 12, I think it's excellent Jagex are taking an uncompromising stand against people who buy gold for real world money. I'm just a bit concerned about Jagex's ability to have eyes everywhere, as this problem clearly covers a lot of ground :( Do people think Jagex are doing enough to combat the problem? Maybe it can use any global influence it has to get the Government's affected to crack down on people who "employ" the people who are running the accounts. Then again, China and Korea are not exactly small countries  What else can Jagex be doing to solve this problem other than what they are already doing (i.e. banning accounts en masse, improving their detection systems and engaging in round the clock surveillance of buying and selling forums)? Emporer_Dave
Yeah. A couple of days ago I saw of horde of about 8 autoers, all preforming the same actions at the exact same moments. You could definately tell they were autoers. I tried to report them all but apparently I was "misusing" the report abuse function. All of them were level 3's and all of them wore exactly the same clothes. *sigh*

What the heck? ENGLISH, PLZ! ~~~ Different Subject ~~~ Earlier, working with my p-mod friend to cleanse world 37, I noticed a bot going by the name of ****10011. (Rune ess bot) Then I saw a bot by the name of ****10020. I nearly hit the ceiling. I added ****10001 through ****10029 to my friends list. ****10010 through 10015 panned out, and also 10017 thru 10021 worked. There seems to be a Rune Ess sweatshop. :( Then I got the mod over there to begin the bot war. : Score! paulyts50
I alsoput this in the rants sticky, but being both these are old posts, I hope people will read. Jagex may have made an attempt, but more has to be done. Jagex is cutting down on the member worlds botting to appease the paying members, but in free they are literally being made in droves. I quit in February but was chatting anyway for an hour so a friend said lets woodcut. At the the yews we would never get a log, so we went to Draynor. There were no obvious autos there...but passing by were the yew autoers and newly made bots. This is not a player name...I repeat this is a bot name not a player name...this is a bot name so don't report here please. I saw fcfc and the numbers after were 4 digit. Fcfc 0600 to 0900 0901 to 0984 0986 to 1125 1127 to 1138 1139 to40 1141 to 1146 1149 1151 to 1181 1183 to 1199 1200 to1203 1204 to 1212 ...these are just the ones that I derived from hiscores using the ones I saw cutting. Imagine how many more there might be. What does this tell me...Well being I reported nearly 20 fcfc named bots in so short a time means Jagex has poor detection systems (surprise, surprise); it means that any mod could detect that and that means no mods have been around for days for that many to be made or rather to still be in operation, ( j mods can also do it...j mods have low level accounts and some paid staff should be stopping this) it means that if I could detect a bot army visually, Jagex has the data base and can and should detect by repeat names and repeat skill pures of any name should automatically be banned as bots. The 500 or so I found by checking hiscores while i was woodcutting is probably just a spit in the bucket of the actual number this guy has just under fcfc. It also means Jagex is woofing you into thinking they are attacking the bot problem. They have done a cursory sweep in member worlds and I cannot even report this as a non-member...so speaking of spit in a bucket...the 'crack-down' announcement was to appease as the detection system in place is is not effective.
