Check the ishing hiscores. There's probably at least 10 players in the top 500 who have no other stats other than 99 fishing.

remove the upper right text and any other text indication of what you are chopping/ mining (like ''chop down yew'')

After several runs, hadn't moved, challenged him for auto buying in public chat, set as friend (showed up as online) and repeated challenge in PM, reported.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Next day, a different numbered Rii was there, level 3, same outfit.

i have seen an increase in autoers in woodcut, cutting willows, cutting yews, there everywhere. When i am cutting in drayorn willows, i see at sometimes 5 walking pass me at the same time! Something has to be done.

I agree. You have to stop cutting willows at draynor!

I usually try to buy arrows late at night. Lately there has been no bronze and there is a level 3 there all having the same name example (not real name) number, number, g, number, number on another world a j another an m. That is very frustrating.

They should do something like a daily cap on xp based on their skill level instead which is kind of like fatigue and needing to rest for the day which makes sense.

the way that i used to tell if smeone was a macroer is that i tried to trade with them when they were standing around and doiing nothing. somethimes it would say "the other player is currently busy" or whatever then i reported them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

by the way, if jagex gave non members more ways to earn money there wouldnt be so many autoers and macroers (escentially the same thing)

I'm with you. My rank recently dropped 2 places, down to 73, because of two people whose names are different by 1 character, and who both only have fishing highscored.

My bro was in Draynor bank, and saw about 20 different people less than level 10, all of which had the exact same look (the default) all cutting the willows on the waters edge. Very interesting...

Most of autoers use draynor bank, willows and yews close to it.

They have some pretty advanced autoer programs now :-k ... this autoer answered certain questioins like "are you an autoer?" and "whats your range level". :notalk:

 

 

 

But he couldn't answer questions like how much range exp do you have? he would just say "no, this is my place" and say random things. :shame: :^o

Hmm... Has anyone mentioned the Potion Ingredient buyers? I'm not sure if they're autoers or not, but I see them in Varrock bank all the time saying

Lol I admit years ago when i started for the first few months I had no idea what the hell an autoer was.

You know I don't think these are macroers were dealing with. This might go off-topic here, but it will explain what's really going on with the "macroer" problem.

 

 

 

The whole majority of these macroers, are actually real people: under-paid chinese workers (I'm not being racist btw) that live in so called "sweat shops". I saw the news yesterday on TV about this growing problem in China. These workers get paid very little or nothing at all while the people that run these sweatshops get the money by selling off items/gp that the workers obtain to the people that want them.

 

 

 

This actualy explains why these "macroers" have chinese names. Also I've seen some of the chinese slave characters wear mimi clothing and lederhosen, those random events require visual attention to do. I don't think a normal macro could do that...
