lol there are soo many marcroers @ f2p realm lumbridge above the castle... soo damn many... even when there is 280 population there are atleast around 5-6+

if u see these ppl add them to ur black list and report them all for macroing... plz all these macroers have a special detection method of knowing when the Yew trees regrow.. so they go there directly before any human player.. that is why i use my knowledge and keep following a certain bot when he moves since he will directly always go to the tree that respawned and another thing is that all random events sometimes affect these macroers lets say a tree spirit attacks a macroer tho if u notice after 10 seconds of being hit he moves and goes away to another tree and cut..

 

 

 

another time i saw a macroer being turned into a frog by frog princess that was priceless lawl tho another bad thing was that the bot actually came back... lol.. its so unfair.>!!!

they all have simialr names like rshun### and other wierd one.I had only became a f2p and omg i never knew so many autoers r in the game...

Someone stop them all in different worlds at same locations grr i world hopped just to report them too

I quit actually playing runescape years ago, I occasionally pk, and give away my winnings. Part of the fun of runescape is the friends you make and the self-realisation and goal achievement 'buzz' you get from reaching your goal (53 ranging / 60). Now seriously, and in summary, please will all those who use macros in anyway, go . and . play . in . traffic.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yeah? So? Your buzz is getting levels after hours of pointless clicking. My buzz is to write a program, then have it work without getting banned. If you knew anything about it then you might appreciate the work that gets put into it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you like coding and programing or whatever so much you should take it else where, where you could use it and enjoy it without ruining the game. If the only reason your playing this game is to test/show off your programing abilities than I believe you shouldn't even be playing this game. There is a really easy solution to this problem. It is called captchas. Basically the server generates a picture, and send it to the client. The user must look at the picture, and type in the contents into a text entry field.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The picture is blurred or distorted in some way that prevents a computer from doing optical character recognition on that picture.

I would propose that captcha's be made more common for certain types of characters(level 3 collecting yews, etc), then for others, because they are a pain in the [wagon] to fill out.

yes, the macros may be run while nearby the computer. Such people will inform the cheating community, but this "call a captcha for a bot-like" will still result a massive first week ban. And it would prevent macroers from autoing (fully afk) until they get a solution.

I disagree with him completely. First, there is no need to make macros to increase your programming skills. All you will learn is to automate a limited activity. If you want java skills, why don't you set up a some private server emulator (like l2j) and finalize a serverpack (like make full bugfixes for your server, a balance system, custom add-ons etc). This would be alot more usefull. And if you choose l2j, I have already programmed such usefull and wanted thing as automated events + full event bugfixes. Ownt?

ya, im so with you guy's/gal's. i have made a devotion of myself to report every evil doer just to kill all these macros but im not sure if jagex allows ftp mods. but the worst part about it is that you cant tell who's an afk trainer and who's just a skiller w/trade and public/private chat off...
