If you are still having problems getting your account back because you don't have the information from Worldpay, I posted this back on Page 6 and it worked for me. IT WILL WORK FOR YOU!

 

 

 

Alright people, here's what you need to get to get the account recovered.

 

 

 

If you do not have credit card information, call this number (1-800-661-7079) and press 1 and 1 at each of the option screens. This will give you a customer support representative. Tell him you do not have a company ID number, but you have a question about your Worldpay account. Give the person your credit card number and your address. You can then ask for your Transaction ID and Agreement number. The transaction ID should be a 9 digit number, while the agreement id will be in the format of Username_:#######. THE 7 NUMBERS ARE THE NUMBERS YOU NEED! Afterwards, you'll need the PIN number from THE CREDIT CARD USED IN THE TRANSACTION. This is the pin number you want. After this, all the information you need should be available, although it may require a few seconds for Customer Support to receive the information and process it.

this really scared me i was in the middle of a cw game then i get logged out and it ses it was locked cuz it was supposedly stolen... panic panic everywhere lol... luckily i had some number... i think it was the membership agreement number, and i got my acc back within the hour... scared the heck out of me though :cry:

 

 

 

i didnt have the credit card on me (my grandmothers) so i put my bank pin lol...

the first time i became a member on this character was in 2003 and my mom no longer has that credit card... so.. it will not help

 

i have no possible way of getting it back.. 35+ tries now...

Why is it that no tip.it mod or someone in charge answer my question? Sure I expect the answer "its too late to add to the updates now" cause of course it'll be gone soon. But why didn't the tip.it staff add Jagex's update about the warning of players that a fansite had their password database stolen?

 

 

 

Why wouldn't tip.it want to warn their own visitors on their front page with that news & update by Jagex? It just gets more and more suspicious the more I visit site.

I'm actually fairly happy that they locked my account....i mean its worth waiting the 5 days i waited if i keep all my items...

I gotta agree with you, I asked similar questions, and don't think I got a straight answer. Then my topic was locked, and nobody pointed me in the direction of this one(which I've only just found). Jeppe seemed to be insisting no passwords were actually leaked or obtained to the hacker, the only things available were 'files', like php and html ones. Apparently the password database can only be accessed from within the server on which it is stored, yet there were tip.it posts saying that some accounts had been compromised, which totally contradicted it. What is this business about passwords being leaked for sometime as well? Exactly how severe was the security compromise, and why were only some accounts locked by jagex? I know mine wasnt, but then again, I have a different username AND password to runescape.

Dang it! My first account (My very, very first, before I decided to make a pure, which is impure now) got locked!! Gaaah! It was my first one! :x :cry:

Omg !!! complete Panic here I also go to log in and my account was locked .. Took me 3 dang trys to convince Jagez it was my account I was trying to get back,, which is actually a good thing, but a major pain in the ***... Still really do not understand what the heck happen, but dang what a shocker when you can't get into your main account. Still trying to recover my panic attack here :(
