I tried to get my account unlocked 5 times and now it says something like their no longer intrested in my attempts or somhing :S

well i logged on today to find mine been locked, and happened to 2 mates yesterday..

Got mine back!! After 6 or 7 tries at least. Damn, was worried, and P***ed off too. Well good luck everyone, and just keep trying, and you should get it. :?

I got mine back without knowing any of the recovery questions because they were almot 4 years old (i had a break from rs). I recommend you provide some personel information about your account like how long you played, when you became member. I also told them the reason i gave when i quit members a few years ago (im now back on members). Plus i had the email with payment verification.

I can't even get onto the recovery screen because it's just displayed as blank on my ocmputer =(

Ive tried 5 times to recover my password, But to no avail, im certain if i could get some membership info, such as my pin, i could get my account back, but i delete the message after im done with it, since my mobile has a small memory, so im pretty much screwed, 1 year of work down the drain :( :cry:

exactly what info do they ask for again, cause i know my account is locked (even though i can't access runescape from school, they blocked my loophole :( )

well i have some incredibly good news, the people in costumer support (who until ten minutes ago were my biggest enemies), have decided to take pity on me, so im no longer blocked :lol: :D :D :P

My brother was blocked, but he isn't (if it's true what he said) he didn't register his account somewhere and used the same pass?

i tried 8 times last night to get my account restored

 

and had been rejected all 8 times with CS saying i had not given enough

 

information - i had forgotten all credit card transaction numbers and such

 

i tried again after i got home from school with the same information from before and got my account restored right away :)

NO computer or website attached to the internet is completely safe from hackers, viruses, etc. My account wasn't even locked at all, so I'm assuming that only the people whos passwords and usernames on tip.it matched their rs username and password actually had their account locked?

ya sampilia is right a friend of mine was able to hjace the schools database and change grades (thankfully he doesent play rs) but if you really want it back, just tell them your credit card number

My passwords don't match, but my username does. They locked mine, and seem to not want to give it back anytime soon..... grrr..........

It said that my report was Pending... The last few times, it just outright said Denied.

 

 

 

Problem is, I put my tracker ID on Notepad, and accidentally closed notepad without saving the number...

They say I didn't submit enough information to be sure. To be honest I think I DID! All my recovery questions, and THREE previous passwords + my postcode. (the only thing I couldn't submit was my pay by phone PIN but be honest, who really keeps those? Well I'm going to from now on...) HOW IS THT NOT ENOUGH INFORMATION?!? Yeah. The one guy up there that said it worked the next day just gave me a huge boost of hope as well. I just don't want to loose 2 years of work. Anyway I hope each and every one of you\us recovers their accounts! From one Runescapper to another I wish you all the best of luck!
