Cdub
To be honest, this title has 2 meanings, and neither are too amazing. First off, I'd like to say one discovery is more of a confirmation. I have confirmed that I have jedi-mind-powers. The second realization is that you can reason with almost anyone, in any situation, for almost ANY reason. Despite what you think. My story begins on my quest to thieve Paladins. After 5 minutes of knocking-out Thugs I'd given up, and headed back to the beloved thieving-capital of RS, Ardougne. Now it's not that I don't like people, I just don't like peopling bugging me. So, instead of thieving in ever-popular Ardougne square I decided to rob the poor knight guarding King Lathas. I felt bad about looting him over and over again, he's such a small fish in a big pond around those big, tough Paladins. :( Things were going well, and I was quickly approaching a thieving level. That is, they were going well until I saw one of the most dreaded sights I've beheld in a LONG time. I spot a level-56 making his way towards me. I'm thinking, "no problem" and "not all level-56's want to annoy me". Well, that's one hypothesis down the drain. Our conversation doesn't begin too bad, but it quickly goes down hill. The conversation wasn't anything anyone with a Fire Cape hasn't seen, something along the lines of: 56 - Umg u sooo lucky. Me - How's that? 56 - U have lava cape es untraedabnle, rite? Me - Yep. 56 - How u get? Me - Complete the Fight Caves mini-game and defeat a level-702 boss. (I've said this too many times, it's like an auto-response) 56 - Lol there no 702 2 get lava cape Me - There is, and it's called a Fire cape. * Well, I'll edit this part out because it's essentially a 10-minute discussion about how it's called a Fire Cape. It ends in a stalemate, and he decides to elevate the situation. * 56 - I think im guna kill that night (He begins to kill the knight. It's a slaughter, constant 5's and 6's galore) Me - Be considerate, you don't want to kill that knight! 56 - K And he walks away. If you were wondering, this is where I realized I had jedi-mind-powers. I also found that some people aren't stubborn fools. But hey, I could be wrong (but not about the mind powers)! That's my lil' blurb ... Just thought I'd like to share! (It gets awful boring thieving knights all alone [in world 9 Ardougne Castle])

kwimbob
Lol, that's pretty awesome. Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well. And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. Yes, this means I look exactly like the protagonist of that certain anime that my second character, Faye_V is also named after. Yes, I bought a jacket that also looks like his. No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. And yes, I'm completely oblivious to the [real] world around me as I constantly engineer new solutions to daily problems in my head. When I get hungry, all that isn't food can wait. When I'm sleepy - nothing is of any priority in front of sleep. But at any other time, I never slow down. Never give up. Never Surrender. Makes for a good life.[hide]YOU'RE GONNA CARRY THAT WEIGHT.- See You, Space Cowboy.[/hide][/hide]

dorkvader
i was a good educated level 56. i'm only level 72 now, but i guess some people.... anyway i kinda feel sorry for them, wandering all their runescape lives completely oblivious to updates and stuff. its almost like they don't read hte first page... wahtever the case, he was obviousley overpowered by your strong willpower and jedi-like mind control. also heath at u.k. he may be a NEWB but that isn not necissarily a NOOB. just because he might be relatively new dosen't make him ignorant. NeXiLe
Jenova... Don't be an idiot? Nice story:D similar things have happened to me and I was thinking the same thing (jedi mind powers) Like when me and my friend were sitting here and I was like "dude, go get us some cokes, I'm thirsty" and he was like "no man, I'm not thirsty so you can get yourself one". Then I said "No man, you know you want cokes.. don't try to lie to yourself" so he was like "you're right!" and went off to get cokes, came back and didn't open his because he says he wasn't thirsty.. Then I explained that I jedi mind tricked him and did it several times after that. I don't like starwars. And that story may make me look like a nerd but I'm not:D You'd have to know me to understand.

Have fun thieving I might drop by and annoy between you slayer tasks  Maybe we can exchange tips? My slayer-advice for your advice of the thieving variety. :D Just make sure you're not being followed! EDIT: Just read the story in the post above me and I'm still laughing! And above that, a noob is not necessarily (albeit usually) a newb, and just to clear things up, a newb is not necessarily a noob. Newb refers to how long you've been playing, noob refers to your attitude.
Markkei
Well, of course Jedi mind powers exist! You should see me put them to great use in many a situation. As far as those curious "younglings" I just do the same as you do. Address them with respect and most of them will probably show some level of respect back. I've even befriended a few of them just because they were nice and simply looked up to me ( :P ). If they're able to resist your mind powers, you could always ignore them. No use getting agitated over some kids who haven't matured enough yet to socialize properly. And why don't you like peopling!? :(

Search within yourself, you know you can't resist them either. 2) I didn't think you could turn people into a word but, well, you did! And I like people! Just not people that make me angry. You of all people should know that you won't like Cdub when he's angry. :!:

You know you didn't intend for the sentence to really mean that. You did make a mistake. *Waves hand for added effect* Anyway, now that I think of it, it's been a while since I was confronted with a similar situation. Unitedite
If you dont like people bugging you, and you acknowledge that people are attracted to your fire cape, why wear it when you're theiving?
