Yay, here's my house! This is using Tefda's program!

 

 

 

 

The entrance is the green square in the middle of all the other stuff. The room that is just a picture of a glory is a quest hall that has a permanent glory amulet in it :) . The "K" teleport is the Kharyrll Teleport and is the one that teleports you to Canafis. Each combat room has a different arena. The second bedroom to the north is the butler's and only has a bed. There will also be an Oubliette room under the throne room soon :twisted: :)

Rotating in paint you do by right clicking on your copied area and select "rotate".

 

 

 

I may return my house back to one-story tall. Seems to be some bugs with the two-story variety.

Here's what I decided to do once I get 70 construction

 

 

 

 

 

 

The two bedrooms for the occasional time I hire a butler. The two portal rooms are for the 6 major locations. The altar is located really close to the entrance.

 

 

 

I decided against a two story design as you lose a room in addition there's quite a few bugs associated with two floors at the moment.

 

 

 

Until we get ability to bank our high gp furniture (gilded altar most importantly), I'm not going make anything above maple.

 

 

 

I'm opting for a Taverly location, with stone design.

 

 

 

Hopefully, we'll soon have ability to "pretty up" the rooms themselves.

I like that design too, good function to it. I like the two portal chamber each side of quest hall (with glory mount I assume) for all tele's close together.

Some nice designs so far. Here's my current house:

 

 

 

 

 

 

As you can see, the layout favors efficiency over aesthetics. The portals, altar, and kitchen are all adjacent to the entry portal for speedy access. I was also going for a "prison" style design, in which rooms only connect to other rooms with no doors leading out of the house for maximum efficiency.

 

 

 

I'm currently considering making a few changes to the design including a quest hall (for the mounted glory) and a second portal room. I'll post that design too once it's finished.

Ok, here's the new design I'm considering:

It's slightly larger, with 4 extra rooms (garden #2, combat room, quest hall, portal room #2). I placed the quest hall next to the altar room because I'm planning on using these in concert, for example, when runcrafting in the abyss (craft runes, tele to house, recharge prayer at altar, tele to edgeville via mounted glory, etc.)

 

 

 

Luckily I won't have to tear too much down to make the layout change. For now, I'll definitely hold out on using any expensive materials (gold leaf, marble) until I'm completely satisfied with the layout.

Wow, I really like Freshwacka's although I would customize it a bit myself.. heh too much work and too expensive to redo my house so I'll just leave it like it is.. I'm satisfied with it although I think I kinda ruined it by deleting the gardens in between the parlor and the dining room and workshop.. the parlor is solely for the classy rocking chairs :)

Its either skill halls, quest halls, or gardens since I need all 4 doors open. Keep in mind practically all of my house is stolen ideas from Axe Man Jack. I just moved a few rooms around for more efficiency. Like the dining room across the kitchen to make more sense and the workshop across the study. However, I give my slave the best stuff unlike Axe Man Jack. He forces his slave to sleep in a bedroom dirtier than Cinderellas :lol:

You should have posted your house layout before I wasted hundreds of thousands on mine :(

 

 

 

I'd just move the bedrooms where the kitchen and dining room is and change the middle skill hall to a quest hall...

 

 

 

On the second floor, I'd have the parlor at the north entrance and the chapel north of the combat room..

 

 

 

Darn it.. if I think about it any longer I think I'm gonna waste another mil and several hours remodeling my house..

Freshwacka, I love whet you did w the place. Im going to put a combat ring in my basement off my obulet, if possible, and maybe 2 dungeon rooms and a treasure chest.

I finally got around to building my layout and decking out the house. I'm using the Tropical Wood look and it's not too bad.

 

 

 

I still need to raise to level 70 - 75 for the rest of the items.
