Evadek
we don't owe jagex anything. We pay money They give game  amen wow...$5 a month, all you deserve is a stale cookie. $5 a month for covering the server cost * well i doubt the $5 a month just covers the server cost, if thats all it would cover, then jagex would hbe completely bankrupt by now. 5 x every member? yeah, that has to cover much more than the server costs, because every company has to put up with alot of gigantic bills and staff wages, so it has to cover alot more than just the servers, otherwise runescape wouldnt be here now. exactly, so the money i like many others pay covers much more than just server costs. So why are we thanking them? we're paying them to make this game, I don't need to say thanks
malo2
so youre saying that just because the members fees cover most of the costs, we dont owe any thanks? Were already sopposed to cover all of that, if we covered a cent less the we should be begging them to keep the game running. you think we should only thank them if we dont cover everything? Man youre one messed up kid. Lastfm
BlackFalcon
Yeah, thanks Jagex for making a skill 4 years behind schedule and still massively flawed. Erm... THANK YOU! And Malo maybe you don't know this but they have paid staff.... They're job is to update and improve Runescape and what do you know THEY GET PAID! Now they've been promising POH for 4 years like bubsa said. I've waited for 4 years for something they said they would do before rs2.... Now since they kinda caused several people things they've paid for in membership and hard work, well then they shoulda done a hellofalot more testing. You wouldn't thank a construction worker for making a falty bridge that killed be would you?
malo2
POH's have been talked about since before members even existed.... You think with that 3-4 four years of work they might of weeded out more bugs. I'm not gonna thank them till they do something that they thought through. Since this is there job and they didn't do the great on it they shouldn't be thanked. If you go to work for a client and end up screwing them over you generally get fired. So they get no thanks from me. just because they thought about it, dosent mean they worked on it. The actually work on it started about a year ago (prolly a little more) but it wasnt the only thing they worked on, there was also slayer, farming, all those other updates. so they had about a year of work, and a month or 2 of testing, now like someone said, some bugs are hard to find, im sure they did find 50+ bugs, but having only about 100 people to test the game is not going to make it perfect. When it all came out, you could say there were almost 1 million members testing (compare that to 100 staff), yet it still took a week to find. now instead of complaining, how about you get your own wagon over to jagex and help them test a big update, to satisfy nearly 1mil subscribers. wow, $5 a mnoth, youre so amazing, i think they should make you god for paying a whole $5 a month!! normal people would charge $20 a month and get way more money of this game. all theese people who think they deserve everything just because they pay a measly $5 a month, this seriously depresses me. swordwarior
im with malo in this, thank you jagex. 5 dollars a month and they update as much as they do. For all of you complaining about the delay of 4 years bla bla bla, im sure most of you are rs2 products and are just trying to seem old school. If you played rsc before members, you would know what its like to have a never changing game. I know people will flame me for this but thats fine. Jagex is doing a GREAT job on this game and they deserve a thank you.
Kanonator
Yeah, this is just really messed up that the players who were killed in the 666 are flaming Jagex over it. ........Period. RETIRED:XtnucxKanonatorTermionkatilUndead StrLed Floyd

dark_D10
So true. Great Post. If anyone here does actually programming they know how hard it is to make programs work without bugs. And when you have a update the size of POH, there is bound to be at least a few bugs. I bet there are even bugs that have been in the game for years/months that no one has discovered. I for one really want to see Jagex's source code to see how the organize all the code they need for a game as big as rs.
Jake_Corsair
I agree, I think Jagex does a very good job with the game. Yes, there are bugs (and occasionally very bad ones), but for the most part the game runs smoothly for the majority of players. 6 months ago, people bashed Jagex for not releasing POH's by the end of 2005, now they get bashed for releasing it. Seriously, if you think Jagex is that bad of a company, why are you still here? I've said it before, Jagex could come out with an awesome update, with no bugs at all, and people would complain about not having anything to complain about. So, thanks Jagex for making a game that I find entertaining and fun to play. If Jagex ever made a perfect update, there would be players complaining about nothing to complain about.[hide=My Stats][/hide]
Huzzah
You know whats funny? For years I've read complaints from people about this and that. Oh boo Jagex your game sucks. -tear- How many of you have made an online game? What code did you use and how many players did it have? Were the graphics and gameplay half as good? Give them a damn break, they're doing a great job. If you don't like runescape then quit.

darkblade986
You know... it's only a matter of time before someone tries to make a Flash movie on this, over exagerating everything (starts doing some heavy thinking...) *Ow*. Head hurts... Either way, you'd see Durial321 running around in Full Rune with a sword, swinging it around everywhere (I know that wasn't his outfit, just for this purpose though...). Eventually, he'd make it to Edgeville, where there would be a huge fight between him and Jagex Administrators, before Durial finally falls dead. Just before he dies for good though, we see him toss a Party hat away to one of his friends... don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat
Rune_User
It's completely ignorant to flame Jagex for the bugs in POHs..For the last few years players literally begged Jagex to put POHs out...They let POHs out a little early, before they test all bugs, and then get flamed to death. anesthetik
[rant] I think that everyone should shut the **** up with the complaining about Jagex. Its annoying as ****! who lets us play this game by the way? who created the damn thing! who gives us all these fun options. JAGEX! they could take Runescape away easily, so shut the **** up please [/rant] *bows to jagex* Thank you for everything.
demonmike05
The only reason im saying thanks is because they gave me a game to play, the [cabbage] that happens with the community is not their fault.
uwilbsorry
im pretty sure jagex isnt owned by 100+ people (excluding the people buying shares at the stockmarket), and nowdays im pretty sure not many people care about whats not theirs....or is it just U.S? is that an insult? u saying people in the US dont care about anything???
