June 16, 200620 yr I will ask a question. What's so special about defenders? They aren't very good. At least acording to Jagex KD. thats false....a +5 str bonus is HUGE for rune.
June 16, 200620 yr Author I actually hated it at CW, I got owned so badly... And I only had a few good hits. I'll use it for training on low lvled npcs, like if I get a slayer task of something that will barely hit me or something.
June 17, 200620 yr I use mine at Pest Control. I wield rune defender and whip. While wearing: Veracs plate/skirt, beserker ring/helm, climbing boots, strength (or fury) ammy, and cooking guants (haven't done recipe for disaster yet...) I use the dragon battle special and the two highest att & str prayers. With those I can hit fairly hard and alot. Since you hardly ever get hit for any hits in pest control the defenders work great there.

June 17, 200620 yr grats By the way, Verac only hits through prayer as an NPC, so if you wear it against people who prays, it wouldn't work.
