December 29, 200619 yr Hi, my idea for Runescape is Rule 14... Points Against My Argument Point 1. Runescape is an online virtual reality game. As it is literally a virtual world, why shouldn't we make it as realistic as possible by getting married/having an online relationship? What about your sad-nerd side and get a real relationship? Most online girlfriend-boyfriends end up feeding off the other player for money and items. So get a life and stop wasting it, a relationship is something real, not pixellated. Point 2. How would Jagex be able to tell whether you knew that person? For instance, if you have a close friend in RL who then asked you on Runescape to be his/her RL boyfriend/girlfriend? Well, firstly if that happened there would be no need to report them. But only nerds propose online, even if they mean it for RL. This could also be done through PMs, and there is a difference between 'lking 4 bf!' and 'hi i need to ask you something. I think you're a great person, will you be my bf?' Point 3. There is a large difference between 'lking for gf' and 'Hi, I think you're really nice. Can I be your boyfriend?' Obviously the staff who deal with these reports will have to look into the statements. Sorry I just have to add some funny things... I am tired of walking into a bank and see some1 say "Looking for BF" or "I need a GF" it is just plain stupid. It is a game what are you gonna do hook up a webcam and kiss the screen for god sakes? such immature ppl. ~~~~~~ When I get 800 names I will be sending this to Jagex! ~~~~~~ i got a few things to say about this.. to the comment about the jagex staff having to look into te comments... since this is a VERY opininated rule a lot of inocent people could EASILY get banned. Theres enough trouble with having to watch what you say or you could end up getting banned( example: people getting banned just for talking about a help site not even mentioning the URL) And as for the "I need a gf" comments, what if the person is talking to a friend of thiers about RL and either seriously or jokingly talking about how so and so needs to get a gf and spend less time playing the game over all this idea is junk because of the above reasons but I do agree that the leaches are a problem.
