Made a mistake with recharging c bow, need to fig...!

Ok here's the story, I'm trying to figure out how much i exactly lost because I can't think right now.

 

 

 

I was playing CW and my c bow degraded into a seed, (first time ever having one, so recharge was gonna equal 900k) So I go to llytea (w\e) and I go to the elf seller accidently since they had close names and bought a new c bow for 900k. So Now I have a crystal seed, and new c bow. Now, I'm thinking that I lost only 180k to this, since I bought a new bow for 900k.

 

 

 

Scenario 1: (The way it was supposed to be):

 

 

 

Go to Llytea

 

Recharge 1 Seed into a Bow for 900k, get back to ranging.

 

Now my recharge cost would be 720k

 

IF i wanted a 2nd bow, it would cost me 200k for the seed, and 720k for the recharge.

 

 

 

Scenario 2: (The way it turned out to be):

 

 

 

Went to Llytea

 

Bought a new bow for 900k, still have old seed too.

 

Recharge cost will be still 900k, BUT i have 2 bows (1 new, 1 not charged atm).

 

 

 

 

 

So what I'm thinking is that I'm behind 1 charge, so I only lost 180k due to my impatience trying to recharge it. Am I right? :-k :pray:

 

 

 

I think that is right, but my head is a little messed up so i need confrimation. :-#

That nre bow you bought didnt count as a recharge, meaining you lost 900k because you have to start over at the highest recahrge cost :-X

Same darn thing happened to me. But i was stupid enough to buy TWO new bows for 900k.

 

Doesn't matter that much, just get over it. Or sell the new bow, if you didn't use it yet. They can go for up to 1M, dunno why people buy them seriously.

I got "2 crytal items" now 1 seed and 1 bow

 

 

 

If I bought a seed and charged it (still having other bow), I would of spent 200k on seed, and 720k on charge. But I have a seed now (i got the from the quest, so didn't buy it) and a fully charged bow that i bought for 900k, so Im just behind 1 charge, so it's not that bad.

 

 

 

I'd like to add I was gonna get a 2nd bow anyways in the future. Now I have 1 bow and seed, just 1 recharge behind.

 

 

 

Andways, if I bought a new bow if I would have recharged it right instead of buying another one, it would cost me 200k for the seed, and 720k for the charge.

You lost the 180k from the recharge cost, but you gained a new crystal seed :) So it's overall not that bad :P

I don't understand how people make these mistakes... Just read the screens carefully, especially when dealing with large amounts of money.

You're down 720k minus cost of a crystal seed (usually about 150k on forums). Sorry about that. Reasoning is this: Once you get your recharges down to 180k, you can consider the 180k to be the cost of ammo.

 

 

 

So, a new bow is a Seed (150k), 2500 ammo (180k), which leaves the 570k to be the extra cost you could have saved by buying a seed and having it recharged.

 

 

 

However, 2 crystal seeds is not the end of the world. I have 8 crystal bows myself, and sometimes wonder if I should get more, but I'm not actively training range atm.

your best way to deal with this is simple:

 

 

 

Charge up the other one too...

 

 

 

now you have 2 10/10 bows...

 

 

 

use one to fire constantly till you have shot about 2450 shots...

 

switch to bow B, and fire thee remaining 51 to get it at 9/10 (you now have bow a: 10/10, and bow b: 9/10)

 

 

 

switch back to firing with your 10/10 bow, another 2450 shots, and the last 51 again with bow B which will then degrade to 8/10...

 

 

 

that way you get the most out of your bows being able to fire nearly constantly at 100%

If the seed is 200k, you GAINED 20k.

sigh... 2500 is for the TOTAL bow, not 1 grade, otherwise this bow wouldnt be 180k to recharge.

 

 

 

Let's Analyse the 2 situations in detail

 

 

 

Scenario 1 :

 

 

 

You recharge for 900k, next bow at 720k, assume cost of seed is 150k,

 

total 1770k

 

 

 

Scenario 2 : you buy a new bow for 900k, recharge the next one at 900k, total 1800k.

 

 

 

Net 30k loss

 

 

 

Now lets take a look at what happens during the next 5 recharges:

 

 

 

Scenario 1 :

 

Recharge for 540k, then 360k, then 180k, then 180k, then 180k (total 1440k)

 

 

 

Scenario 2 :

 

Recharge for 720k, then 540k, then 360k, then 180k, then 180k (total 1980k)

 

 

 

Net loss due to scenario 2 : 540k

 

 

 

Total loss : 580k

 

 

 

Thats how much you actually lose if you recharge the bows, which is 610k. Which is roughly the difference between a new crystal bow and [buying a seed from someone else for 150k + a 180k recharge].

if u use common sense its oubvious that u made a profit ill explain

 

 

 

if u recharge the seed ull have 2 bows, now u have 500 shots for each shot e.g with 1 bow it degrades every 250 shots but wat u will do is use one bow let it degrade and switch to the other one so u can use 500 shots instead of 250 shots, its all a bit wierd to explain but how about this:

 

 

 

u have 2 c bows 10/10 u use 1 bow it degrades to 9/10 u switch to the other 10/10 bow and now u get twice time of 10/10 bow cus if u used the asme bow u wud be using a 9/10 c bow but now u use a 10/10 c bow twice!...i hope u understanded :roll: lol

He meant in the first case that he would buy a seed rather than buying a brand new bow. Buying and recharging a seed is much cheaper than buying a new bow.

Actually you didn't lose anything. The bow you bought is tradeable.

lots of ways to look at it but basically you are correct.

 

If you go and recharge correctly it wil be as if you are one step behind and bought an extra bow (for too much tho as you can get seeds for 100k easily)

 

 

 

the new bow you bought if full is fine, means less lost, if 2/10 then you basically lost 80% cost, which in long run is about 150k. Not sure what the second bow bought is, never did that myself.

 

 

 

When you rechareg and it goes down, it goes down for ALL seeds, not just that one.

 

 

 

At most you paid 900k for an extra bow, your loss can't be over that and you have an extra seed with 500 shots in the worst case scenario.

You wouldn't have lost but 180k (minus seed cost) if that purchase had counted as a charge. It doesn't.

lol at fight caves i was dumb enough to use the one that would go to 2/10,which was newly bought, but i left the already on 2nd charge for jad, buh bye ?280k?

800k actually since seeds go for 100k ea

 

 

 

On a brighter note i "recharged" my bows in this manner 3 times.
