November 24, 200619 yr Author Very nice shots, were you close to that bee? Yeah, I think it was dead though - I had the lens centimetres from the bee and it still stayed still. :? Thanks for all the opinions - keep 'em coming! Photos!
November 27, 200619 yr Very nice shots, were you close to that bee? Yeah, I think it was dead though - I had the lens centimetres from the bee and it still stayed still. :? Thanks for all the opinions - keep 'em coming! Lol I was like: Well, Greenslime must be that good at making photos, he can even capture a flying bee above a flower, without letting it fly away! :) Are you gonna make more pics? December 13, 200619 yr Err.. From an A-level Photography student. What kind of camera are you using? You need to work on some of your Focus, Depth of field and Appeture. My dA account..retired, as of the 1st January 2008.
December 14, 200619 yr Wow these are good  What camera are you using? hows the weather up there. where the rich people live. currently, in the poor area its -1.
December 14, 200619 yr Author Wow these are good  What camera are you using? Fujifilm FinePix S7000 Err.. From an A-level Photography student. What kind of camera are you using? You need to work on some of your Focus, Depth of field and Appeture. As above. Erm what do you mean - I have an apeture range of F2.8 - F8.0 so with that it's kinda limited. Depth of field is affected by the apetures - small apeture means the more of the image is in focus. The focus ring on my camera could be better but I do not think that is an excuse for shoddy focusing. I agree that the cattipilar shot is a bad image with the composition, the focus and the depth of field but with harsh sunlight it is hard to get a large apeture without over exposing. Photos!
December 15, 200619 yr Author When I was on a walk along the forth and clyde canal with my two dogs, I saw one in the grass, so I picked it up and stuck it in my camera bag. The camera bag has yet to be cleaned but I washed my camera filters and my hands - so do not worry about my hygene (sp?). Photos!
December 15, 200619 yr Author Two more photos added. The picture of the tree is supposed to be dark - I took a 15 second exposure of it in the dark a few nights ago. Don't forget to help me with naming the second photo! Photos!
December 16, 200619 yr Author You went to Tunisia? That's cool, how is it? It was quite warm actually :P It was great but I want to go back - the photos of Tunisia were taken with a Fuji A330 which is pretty pathetic in comparison to my current camera. I want to go back and maybe take a trip to the Sahara next time - I might get some really terrific shots. I'm hoping to get a Nikon D70s with some lenses - probably a standard kit lens and a 70-200mm or 100-300mm lens or there about. However, that's very expensive and it's unlikely I'll get it within a year. On the other hand, the limitations of my current camera are fading - I've got an NDX8 filter - so I can take long shutter speeds in day time. Photos!
December 27, 200619 yr To tell you the truth, personally, I don't really see many of these photos being that great. Such as http://img470.imageshack.us/img470/2356 ... all0ol.jpg Click that to see it. Yes, it's a nice sunset, but you have it blocked with nowhere near beautiful trees. Maybe I'm being too tough and professional, but many of these photos just don't have a artistic ring to them.
December 27, 200619 yr Author Note the date and model. I use a S7000 now. I was learning at that point but I guess it's kinda bad now. I will get this updated fairly soon - I took a photo of a rusty light switch :XD: Photos!
February 10, 200719 yr Great photo's! You definately got much talent! This one is imo the best: Good job!
